The hotel is in a good area. Very convenient and everywhere was within walking distance. The hotel was very thoughtful to hand out sweet treats during our stay because it's Christmas. The room itself was well designed and very cozy; however our room in particular had some defects: the bathroom door doesn't close and the coffee machine doesn't work well, but these things aren't major so we can overlook. I would recommend this hotel to friends who wish to visit Salzburg.

Front desk was so nice. I also always appreciate NH Collection hotels have candy/snacks and water when you enter. Room was as pictured online. We had a corner suite. Well situated to the Christmas markets and sites. Very easy to walk to everything. I would stay here again.

Overall a great experience staying here! I was only here for 3 nights but I loved everything about this hotel and my room. All the staff were friendly, the bar is a huge plus and the breakfast buffet is a nice touch. I liked how everything was within walking distance and plenty of food options nearby. I wish I could have stayed longer, definitely recoomend this hotel!

I honestly would have given this hotel a strong 4-star rating due to several excellent features: the room itself was well-appointed, the location is fantastic, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The inclusion of a Nespresso machine in the room was also a welcome touch. However, I must note the primary and overriding issue: a very strange and highly unpleasant odor permeating the area. This smell strongly resembled a sewage or drainage issue (canalization) and unfortunately significantly impacted the quality of the stay.
