Our first room was damaged. The carpets were all stained and floor had a discoloration from the floors being scuffed by the chair, it just looked like a bear clawed on the floor. The tub was dirty and the corners had gunk. The staff was super sweet and helpful with getting us a different room but with no other availability in town due to the graduation we had no other option. I wouldn’t stay here again due to the property cleanliness but the staff was still kind both the morning and night desk agent.

Bed was comfortable, room was comfy. The only problem we had was Expedia booking. We don't live in a communist country. My husband who booked the room used Expedia and was charged $84 dollars more than the room was rated $85 a night. We had no choice and the lady who was very nice explained that we could not use our AAA or AARP discounts. That Expedia was a third party. This was robbery. We will never use Expedia ever again. We are seniors and I don't like being scammed.

The hotel is clean, and the attendants are friendly. The breakfast was good and the attendant was very helpful, but breakfast is from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. Seemed to finish earlier than most places. On the other hand, the rooms have rock hard beds, the bathtub that has a high tub wall that is not easy to get in and out of to take a shower. The shower waterpower itself feels as if you are bathing with a power washer. I had to protect my head with my hands as the water has too much power. In addition, the counter space in the restroom on the side of the sink is about 8 inches wide so you cannot set things down when bathing. No luggage rack in room. If you need more towels, the front desk attendant said I had to bring my dirty towels down to replace them with new ones as they do not have enough towels because some customers pile up towels and then they run out of towels for other guests. As it rained, we had to park at a parking space a distance away from the hotel because roofers repairing roof were throwing nails in front of building. At checkout time, 11:00 am, an elevator maintenance person was fixing their only elevator in the entire building, and we could not go check-out. When I asked him why he chose to fix it at check-out time, he replied that most people check-out at 9:00 am and he had nothing to do so he came to work on the elevator. He decided to put the elevator back together so we could ride down with our luggage. This was not a comfortable or convenient stay.

Stayed one night due to an early morning medical procedure the next day. Live an hour away so it was more convenient to just stay in town. On arrival noticed there was construction happening to the roof. Check in was a little lenghty considering I booked and paid for the room online but the young lady was very nice. The room was cool as the ac was left on as well as the tv and the lights, luckily the room appeared clean. As for the breakfast I don't know how it was, we left just as it was being set up. Unfortunately for us it was not a good stay, it was very noisy, as we were on the first floor. And the mattress was very uncomfortable as were the pillows. And the air conditioner fluctuated between 68-72 all night which was just not comfortable for us. Due to the construction the property just looked bad. And we were a little scared that the roof nails were all around the sidewalk. Told the staff they needed to sweep the walkway but as we left the next morning we just had to watch our step.

Breakfast menu was standard for chain hotels (we thought the coffee was weak). The beds were comfortable and room size was also standard. Bathroom was a decent size with tub shower combo. Room temperature stayed as set. Two different staff experiences. Our check-in lady was rather curt but the night manager was excellent. We had a room on the first floor with a “basketball team practicing above us”. The night manager was approached at one in the morning. He apologized and graciously offered to talk with them. I appreciated not having to call the room!
