To begin with the water situation within the room was poor unable to get consistent hot water scalded back to freezing back to scalding not consistent at all. Step down out of tub unsafe, tub bottom and floor were at different levels. Pool deck was not managed well no towels frequently dirty deck cushions are old and dirty.

We enjoyed our 2-day stay. Situated right on thr riverwalk, and close to everything, we enjoyed walking to the things we needed to see. The food at Ambler restaurant was very good.

Great location

We like the property but have a couple issues. The pillows are large and not comfortable. It would be nice to have fitted sheets because these would come loose. The room service meals were very good. Not big issues but we may look elsewhere on our next visit to San Antonio

It's a really nice facility. Was disappointed we didn't have a microwave in it and not a freezer section in the fridge. Otherwise, quite nice.

Great family staycation

My family loved the space and the access to the Riverwalk. The bathroom was a bit dated and there was peeling in the bath tub which kind of sucked because we have a 9 month old and chose not to give him a bath with all the peeling.

Hotel contessa is an awesome little boutique hotel. I love staying hear and walking to the convention center. Great bar and lounge area and ambler restaurant and staff are phenomenal.
