There was no elevator or accessibility. Rooms were not clean enough and the restaurant wasn't open except for breakfast. Rooms are not being renovated very well. No shower caps available. Kids running the halls in evening. The beds, AC and view from room were the best parts of our stay. Price per night was way too much for what we received.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. We needed to keep balcony door open . At check out they sent someone to check our room. Not impressed, two 63 year old who go to bed at 10:00 pm. I gave stayed in a ton of hotels snd motels and this was the first time for that. Not only insulted as they had my damage deposit but tells me this is a bad area of town. Don’t stay here.

The Anchor Inn is located on the shorefront of Campbell River, BC. My stay there was absolutely beautiful!

Would not recommend
Hotel is old, renovation happening, so without warning areas would be shutdown. Some rooms had peeling roof paint and wall paint. Nasty substance on lamps from previous people. Screen door popped off at least once. Would not recommend the stay, sadly due to previous reviews we assumed it was old but decent and due to lack of other accommodations in the area was to much of a hassle to cancel and try and find new accommodations.

The room was clean and a good view of the water. Both taps leaked. We ate on the patio one night but that closed the next nite due to the heat. Second nite the restaurant part was closed for “renovations”. Good location close to town.

Anchor Inn is such a beautiful spot. Right on the ocean. It’s gorgeous. The only thing I didn’t like was that our cards kept de magnitizing. We had to get them fixed twice. But staff was friendly.

Very tired and stale smelly air. First issue was giant spider in the bathroom. Carpet was very old. Stains on the chair, furniture was dated and tired. Bathroom was clean but dated and tiles had dark mildew. Thankfully the mattress had plastic covers otherwise I would not have stayed. View of the water was overlooking roof of restaurant and the smell of the restaurant loomed in the air. Sat on the balcony and air conditioner was at head level and too noisy to enjoy. Asked advise on area restaurants to eat salmon. little knowledge on options I searched on google and thankfully found a wonderful restaurant.

Older hotel, lovely staff. I’ve got nothing at all against older places, but cleanliness and a little updating would go a long way. The paint in our room was peeling off the ceiling, baseboards coming away from the walls, mould in the bathroom. Corners of the bathroom vanity were sticky and dusty. The terrace (which is a lovely feature with a nice view) had cobwebs, garbage (used napkins) stuck between the boards of the decking, and the table had cigarette ash and salt??? Didn’t look too close. Anyhow, I was disappointed in general at the state of our room.
