I had a confirmed booking at Fairmont Hot Springs, but when I arrived after driving 5 hours, the hotel had completely missed my order. Despite showing them the confirmation, they refused to find a proper solution for nearly 2 hours. Only after the receptionist spoke with the manager did they finally admit their mistake and gave us two separate rooms instead of the one large room we originally booked. To make things worse, the rooms were in a different facility, so we had to drive back and forth every time we wanted to use the pools. They promised to refund 50% of the payment due to their error, but we never received any refund and no one ever returned my calls despite multiple attempts to reach them. Very unprofessional service and complete lack of accountability. This was my last time staying at Fairmont Hot Springs.

It was eady to check in...I pre-registered before check in time. The hot pools were wondrful but unfortunately my travelling companion slipped in the tub when she was showering and we ended up going to emergency in Invemere. We never got to stay in the hotel beds so i cant comment on them but i can say the staff were incredible to my 88 yr old friend. They did everything possible to help my injured senior friend. I paid for the hotel and only got to sit in the pool for a few minutes but no regrets. As i mentioned, the staff was awesome. They contacted the ambulance and sent a life guard over to help till the EMTs arrived. They really care about their guests!! Only complaint, Please make tubs less slippery for old folks.

They were running out of towels and robes for the pools. We kept using damp robes, which is not very pleasant, particularly when is 4C outside. One male concierge attendant in particular was very unfriendly, abrasive and rude to my request for fresh robes to use at the pools and some extra coffee. Property looks clean but outdated. Food at the on site restaurant was fresh, selection typical to any pub style eatery. We will come again for the scenery and pools but our expectations are now much lower because of some of the staff.

Staff very helpful during late check in, with clear directions on finding our room after sunset. Food was excellent. Access to the hot springs pool was a short easy walk. And robes were provided for moving between pool and room.
