Was almost TERRIBLE. We (family of four, with 2 young children) were atop the bar / live band venue / dance club and it was nearly impossible to sleep. The DJ who performed after the band didn’t stop until 1:30 am.

Had a great stay for our anniversary. Staff were very accommodating for a last minute booking. Had a couple maintenance issues - staff were very responsive and resolved the issues quickly. Stayed in the new building - rooms were beautiful.

Waterfront location was great. I chose the West wing due to it being renovated but it was weird that it wasn't attached at least by some sort of pedway. Comfortable bed. Good blackout blinds. Weird set up with bed in center of room and no bedside tables, just a shelf above the bed. Clean and renovated nicely. Very quiet the first night but the second night someone upstairs was walking all over the place in their room and it woke us up at 4 am and they kept going...Breakfast was okay, at least not too expensive and friendly service. Parking an extra 20 dollars a night which I don't recall them mentioning at check in. We were here in low season at the end of May. Would like to see what it is like in the summer. All went smoothly, no major issues. Ate twice at the Hooded Merganser Restaurant. Lovely location on the waterfront but the food was not great...went for ice cream after - walked down the waterfront and that was nice.

Very nice, Buffalohead for breakfast was amazing, good food and fast. Just wish they would have been open for lunch or dinner cause Barking Parrot was horrible. But the hotel itself was really great!

Location is excellent with its own private beach. The restaurant located in front of the hotel facing the lake is open till 11pm, you can hear loud music and people talking late in the evening especially if your room is located just above the restaurant. That was the only inconvenient thing, otherwise everything else was great.

The first night there was an event going on so room service was slow and brought me a different bottle of wine because the one I wanted was sold out and I didn’t like it and kept going back and forth for a refund. Other than that I liked the place and people.

Really enjoyed our stay here from start to finish! The staff were very welcoming and helpful getting us set up for our weekend stay. We were wowed by the room in the new wing of the hotel! Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Lots of space and a great balcony with a view of the lake to boot. The rooms were quiet, couldnt hear a sound unless we had the balcony door open to hear the birds. The bed and amenities in the room were great! Very comfortable and easy to use. Parking was easy to find although we were not advised that it was paid parking at the beginnjng of the stay only to find out it was $20/night extra on top of room charges. The restaurants were great! Lots of options at the hotel and down the street from the hotel! Never had a bad meal and the service was lovely. We didnt get to explore the hotel as much as we would have liked but we would definitely stay here again given the opportunity! Highly recommend this hotel!
