We have come to this resort many times but it seems to be getting less desirable to come. They kicked kids and teenagers out of the indoor pool last night. I can understand kicking them out of the indoor spa itself for the adults but not the pool. So if it rains hard, the kids must be swimming outside? That’s not family friendly. They also took a long time to provide pool towels and bath robes.

We stayed at Harrison Hot Springs Resort and were extremely disappointed. The rooms were dirty, dated (straight out of the early 90’s), musky, and poorly maintained — spiders in the corners, a wobbly toilet, and no bathroom ventilation other than a tiny dirty window. After a shower, the entire room filled with condensation. The elevators and hallways were also unpleasant: wet, slippery floors from pool traffic, stained carpets, and an overall damp smell. The hot springs themselves were misrepresented. The website and signage promised adult-only hours (10–11 PM), but kids were present at all times. No staff enforced wristbands or checked access — we tested this and never wore ours without issue. Essentially, anyone could walk in, making the $400/night room charge feel like a waste. Food and dining were equally underwhelming. The Copper Room was outdated, overpriced, and slow on service. At the Island Café, we were even overcharged for avocado until we pointed it out. Small frustrations like this add up quickly, especially when the weekend cost us $800+ (not including food). Between the poor cleanliness, lack of enforcement, and the resort’s tired state, this place offers little value for the price. Stay at a place close by for a hell of a lot cheaper and just walk into the springs —bring a white robe. Have fun and enjoy your savings!

The staff at the front desk were very friendly but the hotel room was old and run down( the door was very hard to open) the room was small for the large dollar value we paid. The Adult pool was very busy and with children not being supervised they were jumping in the adult pool. We came and did the hot springs but will not stay at this establishment again but would try one of the smaller hotels on Esplanade Ave.

We arrived well before check in time but this was no issue for the staff who checked us in immediately even arranging a room upgrade when we mentioned being on our honeymoon. The rom was spacious and clean with good amenities. The pool areas were well looked after and felt very clean and comfortable. We ate at the islands bar which was very easy going, nice food and great staff serving. Would recommend to anyone looking for a change of pace in a big road trip to relax for a few days.

The room we had was positioned for a good view of Harrison lake. All staff were very friendly and efficient. We had full maid service on day 3. We never ate at the hotel, but nearby restaurants are excellent. Variety of hot pools was excellent, and never got overly crowded.

The hotel smells like urine and fecal matter. Room keys didn’t work several times and no noise barrier between walls. I almost fell head first into toilet because raised washroom floor entering from our bedroom. I had issues getting checked in had to wait 45 minutes. If could, would have requested payment back and stayed some where else.
