This property was well located. It was a short walk from the ocean and from Mission Bay. Many restaurants and stores were nearby.The designated parking space was difficult to get into. There was a steep drop off into the alley. A car could be seriously damaged if the driver went over the edge.The smart lock code we were given did not work. It took over 30 minutes to access the unit because the manager was unresponsive.The unit itself was easily the worst short term rental that we have occupied in the many years we’ve been renting them in all parts of the country. Major issues included:The electrical outlets were inadequate and hard to reach. We noted unsafe usage of extension cords.The bathroom outlet was too high and did not appear to work at all.The hot water was scalding hot. It definitely violated safety standards.The kitchen had no counter space. The cabinets were so high on the wall that it was difficult to reach them. The sink was wedged into a dark corner and hard to access. The faucet was loose and installed backward.There was no ventilation in the bathroom. The clerestory window was seven feet high and impossible to open. There was no fan. When the drain cover was accidentally dislodged, black gunk poured out into the shower stall. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The mattress needs to be replaced. The furniture throughout was old. The LVP floors were new and tasteful.All in all, this rental was not worth the money.
