Shuttle was fast and convenient. Staff were friendly. Rooms were standard with comfortable beds. Outdoor pool area very nice. Limited food options in the area. Hotel does prove a shuttle at night to local food area. Noise from airport and street was relatively loud, but quieted at night.

Great hotel to stay at when first arriving in Costa Rica. They have a 24/7 airport shuttle which works great when arriving on a late flight. The rooms are comfortable and have blackout curtains to block that early morning sun! They also have a very nice breakfast offering with helpful staff. The hotel in walking distance to some of the car rentals. We used Economy and they were most helpful. Overall this is a great spot to start and end your trip to Costa Rica!

They had a trainee by herself.. she was polite but they needed a second person .. manager finally came to assist.. waited over 20 minutes to get check and i was 1st in line. The room smelt like a dog .. or was a mold smell .. The shower had a sliding door missing .. when you shower water goes everywhere ..

The property was well maintained. You will hear some aircaft noise yet expected since it is in close proximity to the airport. No problem for us. The staff were super friendly and helpfull. We ate at La Calle street Food Restaurant. The food was not typical for Costa Rica yet seriously gourmet and delicious. The mojitos top shelf. The breakfast was over the top with not only the typical continental cuisine yet Costa Rican rice and beans, sausage and yes plenty of fresh cut up fruit. Incredible. Would certainly stay again. Good deal Holiday Inn Express. Oh and please don't forget to tip the kitchen staff.
