I love this hotel! We stayed here twice during our trip. The art in the hotel is incredible and the room was so clean and spacious. Very affordable and a great experience. I really liked all the staff! Especially the staff in the dining room. So friendly and personable.

The room was cleaned and well equipped. I appreciated the complimentary waters. The room was cleaned daily. The hotel itself is a museum of sorts as there is lots of Artwork decorating all 3 floors. They had Coffee available at 0500am for early risers. (And it is exceptional). The breakfast buffet was very good and had different items daily. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Walking distance to town center.

This hotel is absolutely charming, with beautiful artwork and so much personality. The staff was incredible—after arriving in Costa Rica at 8 AM, they surprised us by letting us check in at 10:30 AM, even though standard check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. Such a welcoming and thoughtful gesture! The rooftop pool was fantastic—heated, with full bar service, and we could even play our own playlist. The hotel is also in a great location, with plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance. Breakfast was always delicious, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the service throughout our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel for the atmosphere, service, and attention to detail. We would definitely stay again!

This was a very nice hotel. Me and my family have stayed there probably 20 times. It has been our choice in San Jose area for many years. However, a while back they changed the beds from Queen size to Double beds and they seem even smaller than Double. This was a terrible decision for such a nice hotel. Also, for the first time ever, I recently asked for a late checkout. It was a unique situation that I explained to the front desk. They were unwilling to accommodate my request. They would allow me only two hours and I was asked to pay for the 2 hours. Also, not a good decision to make for a very repeat customer. I had also recommended the hotel to many people in our area that is 4 hours away from San Jose. Sadly, this was my almost certainly my last night at this hotel and I will not recommend it again.

Wonderful hotel and the restaurant/ bar is EXCELLENT. The only huge problem was no internet. I also was placed in a handicapped room, so the next night I moves. I had no internet while there, that was a problem for my work.
