This is a small (2) bedroom, (1) bath house. If you are looking for a nice place to lay your head with a stove, refrigerator, and washer and dryer, this place will work. It's a no frills place with amenities you need in a good location.

Clean and well maintained. Older but met most of our needs. Nice yard, good tv/internet, full size kitchen. 1 bath is a negative. No mirror in garage bedroom, coffee would be nice. Fees seem high compared to hotel.

Place was well stocked and comfortable. Wall heaters kept us warm and cozy. However the communication with property management was somewhat problematic. We had issues with water bugs and plumbing. They responded, but did not adequately resolve issues.

Wasted day

Neighborhood is very old and not well maintained. Neighbor has a junked up front yard and stared at me as I entered property. While the outside garden is beautiful, the interior, although clean, was dull , had cheap old furnishings and nothing at all that would make one feel they were in a Santa Fe. The floor plan includes dangerous uneven stair steps. I felt unsafe and vacated the rental after just a few hours. The property management representative was difficult, unfriendly and had poor PR skills.

Great location and space but BIG insect problem

The location can't be beat and is a great space and layout for a several day stay in Santa Fe. Very convenient to drive or walk downtown. However the house has a bad insect problem. One of the bedrooms had crickets living in it - we found three on our first night and could hear several more in the walls/floors that we couldn't reach. The crickets were so loud at night we couldn't use that bedroom at all, which was very disappointing given that we rented a 2-bedroom space and could only use one of the bedrooms. We also found many other insects (a large bug in the tub, ants in the kitchen and bathroom, at least a few spiders on the walls). When we called the property management company to complain, they did send pest control and sprayed the same day, but it is clear this is an ongoing problem and the house is not well sealed off from insects.

Central location for walking Santa Fe

Centrally located so we walked almost everywhere. Good place for 2 people, I think 4 would have been tough given kitchen and living room seating. Met our needs but compared to other places we have rented, I just can't give it a 5 - more of a 4.5. A few notes for future guests as of 11/22: Google – seems to think you can drive through the Shake Foundation parking lot on Cerrillos to get to the house; you can’t – there is a fence. You need to go to Paseo De Peralta, then Gomez, then West Gomez. Property owners tell you to ignore some automated VRBO messages about getting keys but in the Word document that they send you, it tells you to come get keys and in red letters that you need to return the keys. There are no keys. In the same Word document, they indicate that the keycode is 4 digits followed by ü. It should be a checkmark. We were not familiar with forced air heating systems. There was no central thermostat in the house so we had to call to understand how to turn all 3 heaters on manually.

Lovely walled garden surrounding adobe home with porch and side patio.

Really delightful traditional adobe house at a convenient walking distance from Santa Fe old town. Really beautiful walled garden surrounds the house. We also appreciated the driveway for parking our car off the street. Cold weather arrived a bit early for Santa Fe, and a call into the property manager had maintenance come right out and light all the radiators. We appreciated the quick response.

A good central place to stay

I must have overlooked the fact the place did not have AC. So be aware during July / August, this place can get hot. This summer alone I've stayed in a number of places with no A/C.... but the lack of windows (or windows that opened) and not having a screen on the front door....made this one bad for air circulation at night. Maybe extra extension cords would help to be able to move fans closer to windows (we found one). it had actually rained when we were there so the temps where about 10F cooler than what they had been (but still pretty hot inside) It is in walking distance to many things, so that is nice.

Santa Fe get-away

Great, central-to-downtown locale; easy walking to most sites. Comfortable home used by 3 adults who especially liked private yard for outdoor relaxing and socializing together. Would recommend and stay here again. Lots to see and do in town. Very few drivers available for Lyft and Uber transportation in Santa Fe presently, which could be of concern, but all drivers we did use were very personable and nice. Did not need to communicate with property management company but once; was responsive when called.

Don’t try to get to this property using gps. Does not work. It was hot when we arrived but quickly taken care of by property management once alerted. Convenient location. Well stocked kitchen with all needed appliances and utensils. Lovely outside area to sit and enjoy. Lots of information about things to see and do in Santa Fe. No air conditioning so might be hot at certain times if the year but fans and open windows worked great in May once the heat was off.

What a wonderful spot to experience for a vacation in Santa Fe style. Stayed there with my husband and son and the place was perfect for a week-long vacation. Due to COVID , we wanted a private lodging. This property is kept in great condition and the decor and equipment was just perfect. About 5-10 min to everything (Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, pharmacy, local restaurants, etc.). Kitchen is well equipped for breakfast and light cooking. Super clean. Nice towels, toiletries, dehumidifiers, condiments, games and books. The houses in the area are old but very well kept. Neighbors were friendly. We even met the actual Mr. Gomez and their family who are all neighbors :) Make sure to check out Vinaigrette restaurant that is around the corner and the Meow Wolf immersive experience. So much to see in Santa Fe and this place was the highlight of our vacation.

Incredible location

Loved the location of the home, which was in walking distance to just about everything. In fact, Vinaigrette, a restaurant just around the corner was so delightful, that we dined there twice...walking both times. I do recommend that the property owner add a light fixture to the first floor closet so that one can see inside. Too dark with no light. Also, an electric outlet in the bathroom would be helpful.
