casa DROMe was built in the early 1920's. The dwelling has a long history of being: a residence, art gallery, office space and now revitalized to it's original purpose -- home. Embracing New Mexico's light through out; relax in the 1300sf space, enjoy the front portal or private courtyard. casa DROMe is the ultimate in comfort and contemporary southwest style. The owner presents her "hospitality design" occupation and expertise to provide you with high quality furnishes and finishes. There are hardwood floors through out and natural stone tile in the bathrooms.
The high ceiling in the living room is constructed with original vigas. The space is furnished with a leather Henredon sofa, kiva fireplace, Sony LCD smart TV, WiFi, and Sonos music for your enjoyment. The kitchen is equipped with Kraft Maid cabinets and limestone countertops, stainless steel appliances: Summit refrigerator and electric range/oven, Whirlpool dishwasher, and micro-wave. The master bedroom wing consist of a sleeping area with a king size bed dressed in Signoria bedding, a newly remodeled master bath w/shower, stone vanity sink, Toto water closet, and Whirlpool washer/dryer. There is also a dressing room with a desk and settee for quiet reading or your relaxation. The second bedroom consist of a queen size bed and ample closet space. The second bath, also newly remodeled, has custom hand made tiles, a shower, vanity and Kohler water closet.
