My son and I had a relaxing 3 day stay. The house is on the historic registry, a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The home was very clean, extremely comfortable, with a well stocked Kitchen!

Perfect Location

Close walk to the beach. For wedding venues its a 13 minute walk to Monet Monet. Everything we needed was in the house . Well supplied bathrooms and kitchen. Super clean.

Beautiful home, perfect location.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home & the location was perfect! Easy walk to the beach & restaurants. Grayton Beach is gorgeous. Enjoyed bike rides around the neighborhood and swinging on the front porch. Definitely planning another stay!

Over all excellent location, and space was great. Owner showed up at 10, and surprised we weren’t gone when check out is at 11, and seemed annoyed we hadn’t left yet. We had previously communicated we would be leaving at 11am.

Spotless! Classic old school beach town vibe!

This bungalow in the heart of Grayton was perfect for walking to the beach and restaurants. The home was absolutely spotless and the old world southern beach town charm was perfect for a relaxing weekend. I took several pics to use when we build our retirement house. We had a minor issue that was addressed asap. Great host who responded quickly. We will definitely stay here again!!

Just Perfect

Great place to relax and bring in the new year! Short stroll to the beach, local restaurants and park. We were at home the minute we arrived and found the house to be clean, comfortable & cozy. Both the deck and front porch were our favorite spots to spend hours talking and simply relaxing. Sherry was great to work with and we are looking forward to returning soon!

Pefect Little Beach Cottage!

Wow...our stay at this adorable little cottage in Grayton Beach was wonderful. The location is perfect, just a few short blocks from several great little restaurants, bars (with live music nightly), shops and the white sand beaches; no need to drive anywhere once you arrive. The cottage is very well appointed with nice furnishings, comfortable beds (even the sofabed was very comfortable) and every amenity you can think of. The property owner, Sherry, was so helpful and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. This cottage will be my first choice when returning to Grayton Beach!

A Great Place and a Great Area

Perfect For Couples - my wife and I found that to be the case. Everything we were told would be there was - and more! Sherry has this down to an art. Very attentive both before and during the stay. The house and yard are exactly what we would be looking for if we were buying in the Grayton Beach area. I could go on and on about the property - but we want to go back next year and would hate to have someone trying to get our week!

Weekend Wedding!

We had an awesome stay at this house. One of our friends from college was getting married in Grayton Beach and not only was this location in the heart of everywhere we had to go (walking), it's equipped with everything you need! Sherry was so easy to book with and timely in letting us know what do when we get there, how to close up, etc. I recommend this house to anyone coming for...anything. :) It was my first time to Florida so I was easy to please but even if I wasn't.. it was an enjoyable stay.

Great cottage at a great price

My family rented this house last week for a short, three night trip to Grayton Beach. The house is really charming- the details inside are like somebody's home, not like an anonymous rental. The two bedrooms are cute, and there are hide-a-beds in the front and back rooms. There is a nice back porch with a sun shade. The house is very clean and well air conditioned. It's about three blocks from "downtown" Grayton, so it's no problem to walk to the beach. The owner was very prompt and responsive both before and during the stay. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are at Grayton if it's available.

Decent spot but wouldn't stay again

We liked the spot. The home is a cute little Bungalo. It is decorated well and they provide the necessities to make it feel more like home. That said, it could be better managed. Our issues: 1. No internet - the router was completely fried and there was no attempt to replace it before out time was out. 2. Significant mold growth in and around the A/C registers. This is something that i didn't make a big deal about because i couldn't change it, but it was bad. There were green and black blooms all over the ceilings around the A/C registers, especially in the bedroom. 3. The driveway was blocked by a debris pile from some apparent work going on. The deck was all cleared of furniture, etc. Again, i didn't make a big deal about it but for the cost of the rental it should have been addressed prior to us showing up.

Overall good

First, I want to say that we were overall happy with our vacation; however, I believe that several issues warrant commenting on and should be addressed. I think the showers were wonderfully remodeled, but I didn't realize there wasn't a tub and with a toddler, it made things more challenging. I also think the decor was not the most kid friendly, in that we had to keep a hawkeye on my one and a half year old to make sure she didn't break anything. It is important to note that the kitchen area though well stocked, has cooling issues and even when not cooking is a considerable hot spot in the house. There was also an issue with it not being cleaned upon our arrival which was frustrating but I understand confusion happens, though I don't believe the cleaning people had time to clean it thoroughly since we were already there. Moreover, I don't think the house has had a deep cleaning in some time. There was also an extreme lack of water pressure when flushing the master bedroom's toilet which apparently has caused issues as evidenced by the plunger next to it. We enjoyed the convenience of the beach items provided and grill, but didn't realize that we needed to coordinate with the owner's other rental above the garage. We also didn't know that we would need to share the driveway. All this is nit-picky but I think needs to be shared. Once again, we were happy with our vacation, just had a couple things we weren't expecting when choosing this house.
