Embark on a stylish getaway just 100 steps from the beach with private access to Ed Walline. This second-floor studio at the Inn at Gulf Place offers cozy elegance and a unique north-facing perspective, featuring an oversized balcony. Unwind on the spacious balcony with Trek High-top chairs and a table, allowing you to soak in the town center activity and enjoy the ambiance.

Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

About the Community/Property:

The Gulf Place Resort Area: Calm Water 30A Studio is situated in the heart of the Gulf Place resort on Scenic Highway 30A between Seaside and Sandestin. This location is just steps from a stunning sandy white beach! Onsite bicycle rentals enhance your exploration options. Gulf Place is in close proximity to cafes, restaurants, and boutiques.

Gulf place features 3 pools (one heated), hot tubs, shuffle boards, BBQ grilling areas, large outdoor amphitheater, walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and deeded beach access directly across the street!

Beach Service Info: 30A Shade and Beach Service is available for a fee to all Gulf Place Community owners and guests using your amenity passes! Typical hours of operation are 9am to 5pm. You'll find them in front of the Villas Condominium.

Beach Access Info: Having both a private entrance and a public beach access point like the Ed Walline Regional Beach Access right across the street is great for flexibility and convenience. The amenities at the public access, including ADA accessibility, picnic shelters, restrooms, beach wheelchairs, and lifeguards during peak season, add a lot of value, especially if you have guests or are planning a day out at the beach. The two-story viewing platform also sounds like a perfect spot for enjoying the scenery and spotting wildlife. Whether you're looking for a quiet day at the beach through your private entrance or a more amenity-rich experience via public access, you have great options!

Property was very well located in an area that has lots of positives: Ample parking in the general area, plenty of food & bev options within walking, music/entertainment options, easy access to a GREAT public/private beach area. The room is very well suited for single or couple. Has everything you need, very comfortable & a nice size balcony on the back side. Just noticed that the rug shown in the picture is no longer in the unit. Would be very nice to have that back or replaced. All in all
I would book this same unit again, zero complaints.

Perfect

We stayed at this property for the weekend so that we could bike the 30A trail. Very convenient location, comfortable accommodtions, and right on the bike path. We loved it!

Ups and downs

Over all, this is a nice little room near popular restaurants and just across the street from the beach. The room was clean and we felt comfortable during our stay. As for the ups and downs...the elevator was not working (a downer). My wife and I are in our 70's and dragging our luggage UP the stairs to the second floor (thankfully not the 3rd floor) was a chore. However, when we contacted the property manager he was very apologetic and in spite of the fact that he did not know the elevator was inoperable, he refunded one nights stay to us (an upper)! The property manager even offered to have someone help us with our luggage upon our departure....but, as we explained dragging luggage UP the stairs is much more difficult than allowing Mr. Gravity help us with our luggage on the way down the stairs --no need for him to send the calvary. Life is full of surprises and our property manager helped us deal with our little surprise. Well done, David!
