'AVALON' DESCRIPTION
Seaside at your doorstep! Only 250 feet from Seaside and perfect for large or multiple families, AVALON is a 4-story upscale beach home with 8 bedrooms and 5 full baths. It is literally steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (beach entrance is just 25 feet away) and just a very short stroll to all the unique shops, restaurants, and free concerts and cultural events of enchanting Seaside, Florida. This meticulously maintained home has a beautiful, private tropical courtyard with seasonally heated PebbleTec saltwater pool with waterfall, stone fireplace, and large gas grill. With seven well separated bedrooms plus an additional sleeping loft located on all four floors, Avalon will sleep up to 20 in privacy, although it's great for smaller groups desiring more space as well. The interior is spacious and bright, with 10-15' ceilings throughout and a very open floor plan. Walls of floor to ceiling windows frame panoramic ocean views from a 1000 sq ft great room that will comfortably accommodate everyone in your party. Over 1600 sq ft of tiled terraces provide views of the gulf and Seaside rooftops. There are two separate living areas, two complete custom kitchens, an additional kitchenette, and numerous free amenities. Whether it's a beach vacation for one large family, a reunion or other special event, or just close family and friends sharing a beach house, you can create memories to last a lifetime at this beautiful, perfectly located home.

ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS
The beautiful, safe, and very family-friendly New Urbanist town of Seaside is just a short stroll away (about 250 feet). There you'll find numerous unique restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and a wonderful bookstore and record shop. Throughout the year there are free outdoor concerts, movies, and special events. There is a 30-mile long gulf side biking and walking path coursing directly in front of the house. Play tennis at the nearby Watercolor tennis club (fee), or take a short drive to golf. Kids (and adults!) love the outdoor table tennis and the palm-tree shaded Bocce ball court. Relax in the private pool or gather in the evening around the stacked stone fireplace in the courtyard. Of course, most importantly, the gorgeous beach and Gulf of America are only steps away!


FLOOR-BY-FLOOR BED CONFIGURATION: There are at total of 5 King beds, 1 Queen bed, 2 Double beds, 3 Twin beds, and 1 crib in the house. (Note: All 5 of the King bedrooms can be configured to have en suite full bathrooms. At least one of the bathrooms on each floor is separately accessible from the hallway or pool courtyard for flexibility.)

EASY CHECK-INS: Keypad doors at both the main courtyard entry and poolside bath make entering the house a breeze (there are no keys and no need to 'check in'). POOL HEATING: The pool is always heated during full weeks from October through December and from March until Memorial Day. The pool heating fee is $30/day, which is charged by our management service (separate from VRBO). Pool heating is not available in January and February.

Location was great! Beautiful view from living areas!! Cross the street then 44 stairs and BEAUTIFUL beach/ocean right there. Management and owner very communicative. Even mailed a few things to property mgmt which were at the house on arrival; thank you Julia! Kitchen is stocked to the hilt. Plenty of everything. 13 adults, 5 children. Everyone had their own space, with a good layout which is always a challenge for our group.

We loved staying at this house. It was so convenient to the beach (literally steps away) and the Seaside shops and restaurants. The views from the 3rd and 4th floor balconies were extraordinary, House was very accommodating and came with beach chairs, bicycles, beach toys and more that made our stay more enjoyable. Wonderful Family Home

We had extended family group of 20. 10 grandkids under 12 and 10 adults. Great house. Great location for all on 30-A. Lots to do. We rented several golf carts and enjoyed Grayton Beach to the west and all the way to the Big Chill to the east. Seaside is right next door with all their shops and restaurants, although with our big group we didn’t get to enjoy the restaurants but enjoyed the food trucks and ice cream shops around the amphitheater. Pool at the house was a great hit with the kids. Beach just across the street. Wonderful location and lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for all. Comfortable beds and everything we needed for cooking for 20 people. Great vacation. Thank you!

Outstanding home and location

Our family of 11 just spent the week at Avalon and it was fantastic! The communication and check in was very easy and the home as listed is spot on. The location is incredible to the beach and easily walkable to restaurants and shops! The home is perfect for a large group (having the two kitchens was great for extra fridge space and an additional dishwasher) and is equipped for large groups, and then some (plenty of dishes, glassware, pots & pans). The extras that come with the home - beach chairs, umbrellas, beach/pool toys and more, made it so comfortable for us. We had an amazing time and hope to be back soon!

Excellent location and amenities

Wow! What an awesome house and location! Our extended family of 9 including a 10 month old and 4 year old could not have chosen a better beach house. It truly had everything we needed. The crib and highchair were essentials for us. The kitchens were very fully stocked, including many spices, oil and vinegars. We cooked in every night with our crew and weren’t wanting for anything. The crockpot and mixer were welcome finds as were the seafood prep tools. We all loved the proximity to the beach, the provided chairs and umbrellas and of course the pool which offered shade when we needed relief from the sun. There is truly something for everyone at this house! We played corn hole on the huge 2nd floor balcony, bocce in the alley and ping pong on the front porch. We explored the area on the wonderful new bikes and could easily walk to Seaside to explore the shops. Check out the local calendar for events in Seaside like family movies and children’s theater. The house is literally across the street from the beach access and the beach was beautiful as always. It also was very uncrowded as opposed to what we saw next door in Seaside. We loved looking for sand crabs after dark with our granddaughter. The communication with the owners and managers was outstanding! Steve was so helpful and welcoming as was Julia. Thank you for a wonderful week of fun and family memories!

Avalon Stays with you Forever

Avalon is one of those homes that has a way of staying with you long after you get home. We stay at The Ritz and Four Seasons regularly and have high standards. The memories we made here we will always cherish. My husband, myself and my two teen (one college and one 16 year old) daughter’s believe this was the best house we’ve ever stayed at in Seaside and Watercolor. It’s hard to put into words what each morning feels like waking up to the sunrise on the 3rd and 4th floor with a cup of coffee and your loved ones. The bike rides the back way into Seaside/Watercolor/Western Lakes were wonderful and the access to all of it was peaceful even during Spring Break. We loved the easy access to the gorgeous beach which was so close you could run back to grab something you may have forgotten or use their 1st floor bathroom which is easily accessible from the back door. Beach was never crowded. We loved our morning walks to grab some extra coffee to Black Bear which is so close by and our evening dinners at Great Southern Cafe and Bud and Alley’s. We absolutely adored having our own space from our teens who we love dearly. We adored the backyard feeling like an oasis to come home to each day. There’s so much privacy back there. Even though this house is in Seagrove technically you feel so connected and part of Seaside with the back roads or the connection of 30A. Avalon exceeded every expectation we had.

Christmas Family Vacation for 17

It adequately handled all 17 of us with 8 adults and 9 grandkids ranging in ages from 11-24. The location is amazing as we could walk to Seacrest for any quick foods and drive to Publix for groceries only minutes away. The views from the two balconies is breathtaking. Also the connection with the management Co was so easy and immediate. We truly had a wonderful Christmas vacation.

Family Vacay

Our family of 5 highly recommends staying at Avalon. The view from the 3rd floor is beautiful, and the beach is literally a few steps across the street just as described. We enjoyed the pool, as well, and found the water temp to be perfect without heating. On several evenings we walked to Seaside and enjoyed the shops and ice cream/coffee. The kitchen was well-equipped. We all appreciated the umbrella/beach chair/wagon hub just as you exited the courtyard for the beach. The owner and the property manager were both very easy to reach and extremely gracious to help us with a special request. The only thing that we would change would be to extend our time at Avalon indefinitely;)! Thank you for a wonderful vacation memory!

Best week ever!

Home was very well furnished with a lovely courtyard with pool, children’s pool and fireplace for our outdoor activities and barbecue! View from the top two balconies was incredible. Location was perfect with many places to eat within walking distance. We are definitely planning a return visit to Avalon next year!

Best vacation ever?

We had two families with a total of 10 kids, and this amazing house had space for all of us. So close to the soft white beaches and a quick bike ride to morning coffee in town. The owners and management company were very responsive and took care of all our needs.

Family Time is the Best!

I cannot say enough about our stay at Avalon the week of July 4th! We had a total of 16 in our family, so this home with four stories was perfect for our four families! With two complete kitchens, there was plenty of space to enjoy whatever meals we needed to prepare. Being only a few steps from the beach was such a huge plus. I will admit, if you can’t go up and down steps, you may have a difficult time in this home if you choose the third floor. It will be 90 steps from there to the beach! lol! We counted! We also loved having the chairs and umbrellas provided. There were also bikes for the grandkids to enjoy riding to Seaside, which was so close. The pool was great after a long day at the beach. Honestly, we could not have been happier with this beautiful home and all its amenities! Thank you for thinking of your guests!

Family Gathering

We were 15 adults and two infants. We found the space very well suited to our large party. The 2 kitchens helpful for meals in. We had all the kitchen items needed for meal prep. The pool area offered good sun as well as shade for the little ones. The beds were comfortable and shower water pressure was good. We never ran out of hot water. Location was great with quick beach access. Quick access to Seaside with shops and restaurants nearby. The only downside was all the construction going on around us

Perfect family vacay!

From booking to check out everything was wonderful at Avalon! The home is so beautiful and well equipped for a family vacay!! Loved having king beds for all of the adults and then a bunk room for the kids. Loved the balconies and the ocean views!! Owner and management company were all so quick to respond! Loved having the bikes and road them alot to the grocery and out to eat and ice cream in Seaside. The private pool and beach access just across the street were amazing!! We were able to enjoy our kids and grands and just had the best week!! Perfect Mother's Day trip for us!!

Great Stay

Communication with both the Management Company and the Owners was excellent. They were helpful and friendly. The property was BETTER than advertised! Pool, kitchens, bedrooms and common spaces, beach, location, everything! Comfortably fit us, our three kids and their spouses, each with a child under 5. We will be staying there again I fel sure.
