The home's first story is the covered parking spaces fitting two vehicles in the driveway with additional guest spots within the neighborhood. With 2,200 square feet of living space, Memory Maker offers plenty of room for families and groups to enjoy time together while still having quiet corners to relax.

Main Living Level (2nd floor) – Gather, Cook & Unwind
Head up to the second floor, where the heart of the home awaits. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, plenty of prep space, and bar stool seating—perfect for morning coffee or afternoon snacks. A wooden dining table sits just off the kitchen, ready for family meals. The cozy living room features a large sectional and flat screen TV, ideal for movie nights after a day in the sun.

Comfortable Bedrooms for Everyone. The home’s spacious layout gives every guest privacy and comfort. On the third floor you will find two (2) king bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. One room includes balcony access overlooking the pool—perfect for enjoying the morning breeze.

On the fourth floor you will find the Master Suite welcoming you with a private balcony that also overlooks the pool, plus a built in twin bed for extra sleeping space. A fourth bedroom includes a queen bed and twin over twin bunk beds, giving families flexible sleeping options. Both bedrooms have their own full bathrooms.

Multi-Generational Family Vaca

This property is located in a great area. Quick and easy access to the beach. We all enjoyed the open space. Plenty a room for the 11 of us. Lots of places to visit nearby for all ages. Few things could be upgraded or fixed but nothing major. Having a few beach chairs and umbrellas would be helpful. Overall we would stay again.

STAIRS!!!

STAIRS!!!! The stairs to get up to the top floor,so many of them. Almost makes you dizzy. And roaches where seen and killed. Other than that it was pretty amazing their was 11 of us total and no issues with places to sleep or being on top of each other. The beach was farther away than led to believe in the listing but it worked.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Want to start by saying this is a beautiful unit and perfect for a large family get-together...Rented this place so that all of our children and grandchildren could celebrate Granddaddy's 65th birthday. Upon arrival, upstairs ( 4 bedrooms) AC unit was not working...88 degrees for first night and most of second day. Was never happier to see a repair man. On the afternoon of day 3, the downstairs AC went on the blink, never cooler than 79/80 degrees,,making it difficult to be together as a family in the kitchen and living area. We left on day 5. The people at Destin Getaways were responsive to my phone calls but the lack of AC during the heat of the day really put a real damper on our stay. I would love to give this rental a 5 star review but to be honest, I can't even recommend it to strangers, much less my friends. AC in the summer at the beach is pretty important in my book.

Improvements

Hello. While the property was clean and spacious and located in a good neighborhood, there are a few suggestions I will give to make the property better. 1. There were no basic tools on site to aid in cleaning on a daily basis. No broom, No dish drain stopper, No dish strainer to place wet dishes, No dish towels to wash dishes with. Very few cooking utensils. Most of these items we purchased ourselves. 2. There were no basic condiments, i.e., No Salt, No Pepper. 3. We were given 2 trash bags to last all week for 11 people. We had to buy extra trash bags. A box of 1000 tall trash bags can be purchased at Sam's for about $25.00. 4. The sectional couch and pillows were stained and very much worn. 5. The bed pillows were flat and unsupportive. 6. We were given 10 towels and 10 wash clothes for 11 people to last all week. So, someone had to share. 7. The shower doors on the 2nd floor balcony room fell on a family member during a shower. 8. There was no outside access to any storage to place beach items. These items were stored in the open to keep from bringing them in the home. 9. There were some very rowdy people in the pool that were throwing furniture in the pool but no one on site to stop the activity. 10. The air conditioner stopped working 2 times during the week. These are a few of the items that need improvement. For the amount of money we spent for the rental of the townhouse, these amenities should have been better. We would have done better to rent a hotel room down the road. At least we would have fresh towels to use.

The kitchen provided all the necessary dishes and pans needed. The beach was beautiful and an easy walk from the unit. And the unit provided plenty of space for the 8 of us. Our only complaint was the beds were hard with a plastic mattress cover with no mattress pads so we’re very uncomfortable.

Pools were nice but we wished that they would have been heated, the one was shaded so it was too cold to use. We rented bikes from Big Fish Bike Rentals which was well worth the money! Just called them, they delivered the bikes and picked them up again after we left for no extra cost. Beach is close, restaurants, ice cream and coffee just a short bike ride away.

Wonderful beach trip

We had a wonderful time on our beach trip. This property had everything we needed. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived right at check-in time. The walk to the beach is an easy 5-minute walk. The back deck is a shared space so keep that in mind if you would like more privacy.
