Issues were out of their control, dishwasher wasn’t working first 2-3 days. Septic tank clogged and water flooded a bedroom. Ceiling in ground floor was pretty low and stairs to 2nd floor (living area) were very steep. They had a gate at top which helped keep little ones off stairs. The location was great and the outside shower was amazing.

Perfect Location

We loved this little gem. We love this area but did not want to pay for the rentals in the Watercolor area because my family would not use the pool & other amenities the club offers. The beach is literally 4 houses away. It was an easy walk to the heart of Seaside. We rode the bikes that were provided by the host a lot. The only thing about this place is that the bathroom/shower situation is a little unconventional, but it works. There is a half bath upstairs with the living room/kitchen. Downstairs are 3 BR's with one toilet & a combo tub/shower & then a separate shower only. The toilet & tub are in one room & the shower is separated by a pocket door. Pretty ingenious to have this all work. Otherwise - very clean & SUPER SUPER location. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Little House in a Great Location!

This little house fit our needs, and then some. It is in a great location with great access to the beach and the town center. To get to the beach, you walk past 3 houses to the main road, turn left and walk past 1 house, cross the main road at a marked crosswalk, walk down the access stairs, and your feet are in the sand! If you turn right at the main road, it is a short 1-2 minute walk to the town center. The house was very clean. I had a minor question about the outside trash can situation, and Krista was quick to respond. I had a question about the remotes to control the television (I am technically challenged), and Cheryl quickly came by to show me how to properly use them. So, if you have any questions or need some help, they are on top of it quickly, and both are very nice. The house is surrounded by plants, bushes, and trees, so that provides some nice privacy. The upstairs outside porch in the front of the house was a nice place to sit around in the early evening. The house does have a tricky set of stairs, so that needs to be a consideration if you have very small children or the elderly in your party. However, it was not a concern for us. I would strongly recommend this house for its cleanliness, location, and prompt support from the property managers should you need it.

HOME away from home right by the BEACH!!!

Close to the seaside shops. Very close to the beach!!! It felt like home in a resort location. Very quaint property. Driveway room enough for 2 cars. BBQ, fire pit, outside shower/rinse. Max 4 people for comfort. We would definitely stay here again!!! Great experience!!!

I would consider renting this property again. Some minor suggestions: Replace the rug in hallway, tripping hazard, can't close the bedroom door. Shower curtains are too dark & bulky, use clear vinyl curtains. Need light in shower & tub. The stairs are very steep and dangerous. Add more hand railings. Clean out the coffee maker, it's nasty. The towels have a sour smell to them, not dried all the way? Smaller lamps on the night stands. No place to put toiletries in bathroom so you need the space on night stands. These are minor suggestions. Thank you

A Seaside Gem

Blue Dream is an original gem that harkens back to the original feel of Seaside. It is a small house surrounded by new larger construction. We were impressed with the convenience of this location to the beach, and to the town of Seaside. We loved the second floor great room, and the convenience of an upstairs bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed, although we did not cook during our stay, opting instead to visit the many excellent area restaurants. The winder stairway could be a challenge to some people. The construction across the street was unpleasant at times, mostly because of trucks and heavy equipment on the street. Fortunately, as of mid February 2022, it appears that this new construction is on its way to completion. This property is clean, comfortable, and above all, convenient to the beach, Seaside, and the Emerald Coast on Highway 30a. We hope to return soon.

Good location, but that’s about it


My family (myself, my husband, my mother, and our 3 teenage children) stayed at this property for our first ever trip to Seaside. We were extremely disappointed for multiple reasons. Although the location is close to the town center and just a quick golf cart ride away, the construction of homes on practically every side of this house was quite unpleasant. While I do realize that this is out of control of the homeowner, it left us wishing for quiet moments on the porch that were impossible to achieve. What IS well within the control of the property owner is the condition of the landscaping - as in we had to duck and dodge overgrown vines and bushes every time we walked up to and entered the house. Don’t even consider spending time in the backyard unless you’re into jungle vacations. And certainly don’t look beyond the fence at the perfectly manicured property next door. I don’t mean to sound ugly about this, but it can’t be that hard to give this property some much needed TLC. A proper walkway (or even just a couple of extra pavers) would have been nice so I didn’t have to hop, skip and jump to get to the laundry room. Interiorly, the bedrooms were a decent size and having 2 showers was nice, but it was a tight squeeze and cumbersome for multiple people to use at the same time. The stairs were VERY narrow and winding - major dislike - and the carpet on the stairs is stained and dirty and needs replacement. The living room upstairs was a nice size and we enjoyed reading some of the books provided. All in all, this home will never compete with the newer, bigger, upgraded surrounding properties -it’s not apples to apples- but at the very least it needs some love and attention, and it’s not a property I would recommend.

Nice place to relax

Good place for a family with small kids to get away. They loved having their own pool (appreciated the door alarm to the door to pool area!). Plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 children. The area was very walkable as well.
