Villa Mareneve is a building in typical Sicilian style, with comfortable and spacious exteriors to underline the favorable climate for a holiday spent outdoors; furthermore, the interiors, being of new construction, have been realized with the comforts of a good hotel, with private bathrooms in each bedroom, but with the advantages of living a holiday exclusively in the company of the family or with their friends.
The villa is surrounded by the lush greenery of the Sicilian countryside, with lemon trees, oranges, and Mediterranean plants of all kinds; It is equipped with all comforts included in the price, namely: wifi, dishwasher, heating and air conditioning in time (7 hours during the 24 hours).
The position of this structure is very particular because, situated halfway between the Etna Volcano and the Ionian Sea, it has a spectacular view in both directions, and this has much advantage when there are volcano eruptions, because you can admire from all the windows and the openings of the west side of the structure, while from the east side it is beautiful to witness the dawn of the sun, in the morning, but also at the dawn of the full moon reflecting on the sea making it shine of silver light. Half of the villa is used as a holiday home while the owners live in the other half. The entrances, and the gardens are completely separate and independent, so there is complete privacy, the pool (12 x 6 m and 2.20 cm deep) is open from the first of April until the end of October and is for exclusive use of guests.

There are two floors, for a total of 220 square meters. The ground floor consists of a large kitchen with a dining table for 13 people, a living room, a bedroom with double bed and two single beds, en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, toilet and bidet, and there is a separate bathroom with toilet and shower . On the first floor there are four bedrooms all with private bathroom (toilet, bidet and shower) and double beds. The terraces are located both on the first floor and on the ground floor, one is covered, the others are uncovered; They are furnished with beautiful furniture and enjoy views of the sea and Mount Etna. An ideal property also for a stay in the off season.

A brilliant holiday venue

Just back from a week in Villa Mareneve with our family of 5 adults and 3 children. The villa is exceptional with all that you need for a family holiday. The pool was used constantly during the week, particularly useful when we had very high temperatures and good to cool off. Mara was an excellent host, we had some minor issues which were speedily resolved. We have no hesitation in recommending this villa.

Fantastic vacation!

We stayed in this Villa for a month. Absolutely an awesome time! Mara our caretaker was extremely helpful and always willing to guide us or translate for us when we didn’t understand. The Villa is beautiful! The pictures are very accurate. Mara’s parents made us feel very welcome too! We would definitely stay again if we visit Sicily.

Wonderful Stay at Villa Mareneve

We had a fantastic stay at this villa. The villa had everything we needed and was perfect for six adults. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking our meals and the patio was great for al fresco dining. The pool was a fabulous way to cool off during hot, sunny afternoons. The views of Mt Etna and the Mediterranean are amazing. Mara was an excellent host! She was responsive to all our questions and requests. There are pets (a dog and cats) on the property; Mara will restrict their visiting if you wish. We highly recommend this villa and will certainly look to stay with Mara again when we are next visiting eastern Sicily.

Great Place To Stay

We loved Villa Mareneve, and it was the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Sicily. The villa itself is spacious, clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The bedrooms were all comfortable, the kitchen was fully outfitted, we had plenty of living space, and the pool and grounds were beautiful. Not only that, but we had a beautiful view of Mt. Etna from our patio and the villa is centrally located to great spots like Taormina, Siracusa, Etna, beaches, and other sites. Mara, the caretaker/owner, was terrific and was always available if we needed restaurant or touring suggestions or if we had any requests or questions. It was perfect for our group of 6 adults, and could have comfortably fit more. Our only complaints: the front door is a bit tricky to open (but fine once you learn the trick) and only 7 hours per day of air conditioning is included, though you can purchase additional hours for a reasonable fee. Highly recommended, and many thanks to Mara for helping us experience a truly wonderful vacation.

A Month in Santa Venerina

Exactly as advertised, beautiful property hidden away behind two electronic gates. The villa was as advertised and was an oasis. Mara, our host, was perfect. She was quick to respond to our needs and went far above what would be expected. One of our guest got sick and Mara arranged medical treatment for her. The living conditions were more than adequate although we would have liked a few swiffers at a couple of points of our stay!! There was a washer (which we used every day but no dryer) clothes were hung out to dry and came in with an amazing smell. The stove and oven were small but they were seldom used by us. Plenty of restaurants in the town and all throughout Sicily. Bottom line, Mara and the Villa were a "Once in a Lifetime" experience!!! We would highly recommend Villa Mareneve to everyone!!

La maison est idéalement située entre la mer et l'Etna. Proche de Catane. Facilement accessible grâce à l'autoroute. La maison est très bien conçue, spacieuse et chaleureuse. Le jardin est un écrin de verdure. Un lieu où il est agréable de vivre de passer d'excellentes vacances. Nous conseillons vivement la villa de Mara. Aber bei gutem Wetter ist das Haus wunderbar und es liegt traumhaft. Pool sehr schön. Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit.

angenehmer Familienurlaub

Das Haus bietet genügend Platz für eine (Gross) Familie mit 14 Personen. Bei den Küchenutensilien wird es eng. Gläser , Tassen und auch Töpfe / Pfannen mussten wir nachordern. Das ist doch alles ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen......und " near end of live". Das Ambiente ist schön, störend waren Arbeitsgeräusche von den Nachbargrundstücken und auch ein Familienfest grad im Nachbarhaus ( der Vermieter!). Der Ort biete sich als Basis für Ausflüge sehr an. Der Garten und der Pool konnten von den uns gut und gerne genutzt werden. Auch wenn es den einen oder anderen Abstrich gab, es waren gelungene Familienferien.

Das Haus ist sehr schön. Es liegt versteckt und erlaubt einen schönen Blick auf das Meer. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett auch wenn Sie ankündigen dass die Müllentsorgung gefilmt wird. Eine Anfrage von uns wurde umgehend geklärt. Das gefiel uns sehr. Das Dorf ist sehr unscheinbar bzw. einfach nicht schön. Auch das naheliegende Riposto hat wenig Charme. Der Blick auf den Ätna ist hinreißend.
