Trés bon hotel

Cet hotel a un rapport qualité prix trés bon. La piscine est super, le personnel est agréable, et l hotel en lui meme est trÚs joli. Nous sommes trÚs heureux de notre séjour dans cet hotel.

HĂŽtel calme et sympatique

Le personnel est trĂšs sympathique et serviable. La chambre est simple, confortable et couleur locale. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est correct mais un peu monotone. Astuce : En journĂ©e descendez du bus Ă  PĂ©rivolos, pour Ă©viter de faire un grand dĂ©tour. À partir de 20h vous pouvez descendre Ă  Mermaid.

Nos recibió el dueño del hotel, Mario, y es una persona encantadora, que te ayuda con todo, te indica todo lo mejor de la isla para visitar, y siempre con una sonrisa. El desayuno muy completo y lo traían a nuestra habitación cada día. Hemos decidido volver a ir al mismo hotel, porque nos han tratado como si fuera nuestra casa. Resumiendo, un hotel donde ir a pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables.

Quiet location, friendly hospitality..

For a week's good value relaxation this ticks all the boxes. Simple rooms but very clean, quiet and with all the basics you need - firm, comfy bed, clean sheets, A/C, fridge & "wet room" style small bathroom - even free Wi-Fi throughout.. Breakfast was typical / fine - lovely fresh bread, eggs, cheese, cereal, tea / coffee / juice etc and fresh watermelon provided once mentioned to the very pleasant & helpful Nina. Host and owner Marios does his very best for you but without being intrusive and the boutique feel of this hotel ensures there is much more guest interaction than usual and a real inclusive feel.. Everyone picks up on the infectious friendliness and it's interesting to chat with all the mix of people from across the globe. No it's not 5* "posh" but it's not meant to be.. Chill - relax & enjoy..

Overall satisfy, as only for sleeping and use the clean nice swimming pool once. Good service from the staffs.Really turned down by the heater system for shower.

Perfect Holiday retreat

Great small hotel, 5 mins walk from beach where you will find plenty of eateries. nice size pool with loungers. Breakfast basic with cereal, yogurt and bread - but does the job.... I would definitely return to this hotel

Mi sono trovato bene, personale gentile posizione buona per chi deve andare a mare,non vicina ai centri piu importanti a meno che non si affitti un mezzo di trasporto, comunque l'isola e piccola e non ci vuole molto per girarla. Le camere non sono il massimo, bagni molto piccoli,ma diciamo che non si deve passare la giornata in camera.

Great little hotel

The Amelie Hotel provided just what we wanted, a basic but spotlessly clean room, a lovely helpful owner and staff, and a great location for the beach and town of Perissa. The rest of the island was easy to explore and Fira and Oia are well worth a visit either on the local bus, an experience in itself or by hiring a car or quad bike.

The hotel was lovely, in a good location and great value. The only disappointment was breakfast where there was not much choice. We had to buy our own fresh fruit to eat at breakfast, which isn't ideal

best stay to enjoy Santorini dramatic views

the choice of location and hotel couldn't have been better, beaches are very close, superb dining taverns also and enjoying caldera views in Fira and Oia is just 20 minutes away. the warm and friendly recommendations and supports from Vicky Moltsa from the hotel are unreachable in our 5 other stays in Greece. They even wait for us for the breakfast past 10.30 as we were late the night before from the breathtaking Katamaran tour in Oia. If you want to enjoy Santorini, don't ever stay elsewhere rather than in Amelie hotel.

A hidden gem in Perissa!

Many times one reads reviews or photos of a hotel that extol it's virtues, and the reality does not meet expectations. Amelie is the COMPLETE opposite of this. The reviews and pics cannot capture how chilled, clean, friendly and pretty this hotel is. Marios, Eri and Leyla are a dream team. They are welcoming, but never intrusive, they added that something extra special to the stay. Marios is a trained and experienced manager who can advise on everything from catching a boat to another island or the best restaurant to eat seafood. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the the beach and a strip of restaurants and bars - and yet it is beautifully tranquil. We hired a car to see the island, but if you prefer tours there are several agents a few minutes away from the hotel who can organise these for you. You can also hire a car or a quad bike from around the corner. Swimming in the pool is a treat, as you swim you have a great view of the huge rock at the end of Perissa Beach. Each room has it's own mini terrace with table and chairs - ours was particularly pretty overlooking the pool and afforded a great sunset viewing spot. We can't recommend this place highly enough and we are already planning to use it as our base for island hopping next year.

LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!!!

We recently stayed at Hotel Amelie and were very impressed! The manager of the hotel, Marios, was incredibly kind and a good source of information. He organised a tour for us with ease, as well as payed for our transfer to the port. Also he kindly enough changed our room to two single beds, when he realised that we had booked a queen bed and we were not a couple. Being our first trip around the world, and to Santorini, we were a bit dubious about what hotels to stay in. If we ever return to Santorini we would stay at the Amelie, no doubt. It was a 5min walk to the beach, where the hotel had its own sunbeds. We were close to an amazing bakery, and in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Complimentary breakfast was good, and the bar was excellent.

Superb Hotel

Having stayed in many Greek accommodation - we are used to it being basic. However this was beautifiully maintained and clean. NOt ideal if you trael with an extensive holiday wardrobe as they were small and in some rooms the shower was over the loo. However do no let this put you off. Marios and his team are fantastic and the hotel is superb. The pool area was fab and most days it was just the 2 of us there. Rooms on the ground floor are cooler but have no balcony but an area to sitoutside which is fine. The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were cleaned every day as well as fresh linen and towels daily! Cannot recommend it highly enough

Die Zimmer sind teilweise sehr klein. Manche haben keine eigene Dusche, sondern die griechische Kombi von WC und Dusche. Ansonsten, klein und trendig. Freundliches Personal. Sehr schlechte Ausschilderung des Hotels. Die Karte im Internet ist auch falsch. Hat lange gedauert und viel Fragen gekostet, bis wir Ziel erreichten. Preis- LeistungsverhÀltnis stimmt nicht. Zu teuer. Es gibt auch keinen Privatstrand.

Amelie was a great little personal hotel!

Marios collected me from the airport, which I'm really glad I'd arranged! The hotel was not an easy find if you're unfamiliar with the area. Really warm welcome, and marios offered me a choice of rooms!! Who does that!! Enjoyed every minute, perfect if you're like me, a single traveller! Rooms immaculate, poolside loungers very comfortable and the breakfast good. Recommended!!
