RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Guests staying in Unit 246 at Silver Sands will enjoy complimentary guest membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort, 645 Cedars Court, located just 1/2 mile south of the Silver Sands property. Cedars amenities include a Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool with lap lanes, fitness center, lockers, clubhouse with pro shop, and parking. Also available onsite are bicycle rentals, fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 PM; subject to availability).

We normally stay further south on manasota key but couldn’t get a place and I stumbled across here… the beach was great, pool and room were clean and comfy! We will definitely be coming and staying longer ASAP!

Best beaches on florida very private, perfect for relaxation !!!!

Super Clean, all you need to spend days on a very VIP beach, beach and ocean a very close to the other ones that I had been on Caribbean, warm water even on earlier morning, nobody else on the beach.

Enjoyable and peaceful

LBK is a great place to vacation or spend a long weekend. Quiet, private beaches with easy access to good restaurants nearby. This location is a great choice… lounge chairs and umbrellas provided… You set them up but they are free to use and there were always chairs available.

It was perfect! Clean quiet and on the beach. We really enjoyed our experience. Having a full kitchen gave us ease on having to go out to eat and allowed us to enjoy the beach and pool more. Definitely will book again. Highly recommend.

The property was perfect! Had everything we needed inside and out. Loved the beach chairs near the water and beach/pool gear was conveniently self-serve. The pool was clean. Perfect for night time swims after at day at the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Great getaway

Staff was very nice. It was wonderful that our apartment was so close to the beach the only downfall would be that there were limited restaurants/shopping within walking distance from the resort- we chose not to rent a car and just get some R&R. We were able to walk to a couple restaurants. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves, and would come back!

A Little Bit of Paradise

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. The positives were the property is right on the beach, is nicely furnished, comfy bed, and spacious screened in porch. The only negatives were the bathroom was very small, no facial tissues, poor lighting, & mirror too low. But that wouldn't keep me from coming back!!
