This sun-dappled, first-floor studio flat makes an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful ski resorts in winter and the rest of the region throughout the year. The apartment’s delightfully peaceful living area has a sofa, a large bed, a flat-screen HDTV and a dining table with seating for 3 people. A glass door leads from the living room to the wooden balcony, with a table and chairs, which has wonderful views over the forest and mountains. The open-plan fitted kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher and fridge.

In the winter months, visitors can enjoy multiple skiing and snowboarding options as the resort is part of the famous “Milky Way” network of slopes. In the summer, there are numerous hiking trails through the alpine meadows and mountains. A 15-minute drive will take you to the breathtaking Lake Orfu, perfect for a day of relaxation by the water\'s edge.

There are many good restaurants and bars in the area, which will suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sauze d’Oulx has a supermarket and other smaller shops selling local delicacies. And for easy day trips, consider visiting the nearby town of Bardonecchia, a 30-minute drive, or exploring the historical charm of Susa, about 20 minutes away.
