25 min walk to Scarborough

Pros: Relative proximity to Scarborough
Cons: Bed was pretty firm/hard. Dinner at Cafe Havana could be both cheaper (given lack of alternatives nearby) and more flavorable.
Room was spacious, and had a dresser with a safe. Breakfast at adjacent Cafe Havana was plentiful and good. Dinner at Cafe Havana was expensive (US$ 16 pasta, THEN add on 10% service and 12.5% tax) and bland. Is an easy 25 min walk along the coast cliff road to get into Sacrborough, so convenient for meetings there. Pretty views. Beach is behind Bacolet Beach Club (sister hotel to this one), but note that it is a fair climb down the stairs to the beach. Also--the pink/blue building in photos is the hotel office, but not where the guest rooms are located. Overall, experience was fine but not exceptional.

False advertising

We stayed in the penthouse suite and it was a great challenge. First of all, the view and the space was great but the stairs was steep and the air conditioning was not working.  Housekeeping and customer service was poor.

Ok hotel

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
The hotel definitely had a tropical feel but did not cater to my group's needs as expected. Also, the locks on the doors were very flimsy and part of my shower door was broken and not fixed.

Great Place!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Half Moon Blue has wonderful sea views and a friendly, helpful staff. The included breakfast is very generous and you can even get wifi at the little beach! It's an easy walk to town and has a fantastic pool. I'd stay here again !
