"We enjoyed the place overall, there were a few things we would recommend changing. The lights over the dining room table were far too bright. Recommend a dimmer switch. The ceiling fan in the living room did not work. They came to look at it, but said a new one was needed, but nothing was ever done about it. My husband and I both felt the master bed was entirely too firm. It needs a new mattress or a topper of some sort. Regarding the LR TV, three remotes are needed to work it. The pool was excellent. We used the grill several times and it was very clean and worked perfectly. We enjoyed the shuffle board also. Several in our group loved the little smoking area and thought the overall property is in better condition than it was 20 years ago. Having the hose to wash off your car was very much appreciated. "First, I got a message just prior to my check in, too late to cancel or change my trip with rules and a notice that the building was under construction. Upon arrival it wasn’t clear where we were allowed to park with only one tiny unreserved spot available. Resulted in ding in my rental car door. When we got to the unit and pulled out the couch sofa in living room the sheets were full of sand, indicating they had not been cleaned. Found a new set of sheets in linen closet. This sofa in the living room was advertised as a sleeping area, but there were no curtains on the large sliding door so as it’s an L shaped building it meant no privacy. The internet was VERY slow and kept going out. I called and texted the numbers provided. Finally got a text back after several attempts and they apologized for the internet and cleaning issue she said both would be corrected ASAP, but it didn’t happen she didn’t hear back from them until they sent me check out instructions that didn’t even apply to my unit. Additionally, several areas in the ceiling of the unit were stripped down to bare drywall. Overall not what I expected for the price nor compared to other VRBO’s I’ve rented in same area / price range. "

"It appeared the complex was undergoing repairs/renovation. There was no pool and access to the beach first night was blocked with yellow tape. The bathrooms on the first floor for beach goers to use were being renovated and were closed. Views from our 4th floor balcony were breathtaking and were consistent with picture on the site. However none of the windows opened to hear the ocean while sleeping. That info was not shared until we arrived and received the PDF instructions. :( The condo itself appeared to undergoing some repairs/renovation, message instruction on kitchen wall for contractors. The kitchen appeared to have everything you would need to cook except for teaspoons. There was one teaspoon and the rest large tablespoons. Everything in the condo worked except one floor lamp, it had the knob missing for turning it on. Both floor lamps only worked if the light switch on wall was turned on. Bonus the condo provided beach chairs, beach towels, and beach umbrellas and a wagon to haul it in downstairs to the beach. Our last day we saw 2 dolphins from our balcony and a Starlink launch. The host was responsive and answered questions. The kitchen did not have any dishrags/dishtowels. We did not access TV because we could not\ figure it out. A nice TV instruction paper would be helpful. We loved the stay and that the price was reduced to reflect the lack of pool and construction. Would stay again, There is a stoplight at the entrance to parking lot a very good plus!! *****"

"Location and access to the beach were great. The property manager was very quick to help when there was an issue with the shower during our stay. Maintenance was fantastic and communicated well to resolve the issue. The two small issues were 1-there were quite a few places inside with missing paint and chalk lines on the ceiling. Looked like we stayed during a renovation and 2- the two stand alone ac units could not keep up with cooling the whole unit. It didn’t always cool down to a comfortable temp during the stay. All in all, very clean unit with friendly/helpful staff. "
