The accomodation was comfortable and clean. The staff however look really miserable and our waitress at dinner was borderline surly. Not sure if they are all disgruntled after the Federal lockdown but they definitely are not happy bunnies and do as little as possible

Be certain to note the rooms are in 3 separate buildings up a paved walk. A long walk for anyone with walking difficulties. Great peaceful setting, but not well lit once darkness falls.

This is a very nice lodge in a beautiful setting. It is not the place for people with mobility issues as the guest rooms are a bit of a hike from the building with the check-in desk and restaurant. Also it is a little expensive, but understandable in this remote location. Nice room and good restaurant.

The room was very comfortable with a nice sized bed with a tv and mini refrigerator along with a microwave. Had a tub/ shower combo. Quite lovely to come back to a warm room after exploring all day.

Clean, spacious room. The in room mini fridge and microwave were very much appreciated. The location of the lodge is perfectly situated to visit both Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park.

My stay was better than expected, clean room and convenient location, breakfast buffet just has everything you want to eat and prepare me for a good hike afterwards. Grocery store is just minutes away, I even ran into a group of peaceful deers during our stay.

The lady in the gift shop did not seem welcoming. But overall the rest of the staff was very nice. The lodge is amazing and so is the park. The only complaint was the room did not seem to have a/c only heat. However, we did not ask since it was late when we noticed it. At least it was fall so the weather was pleasant and the room temperature ok. Definitely would go back.
