The best thing about Wuksachi Lodge is its location—it's perfectly situated for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The setting is peaceful, the rooms are clean, and housekeeping does a solid job. Having a restaurant on site is also convenient after a long day of hiking. That said, for nearly $350 a night, the experience falls short. The cabins are dated, with old and worn carpets in the hallways and stairs that really need replacing. There are no elevators, which made carrying luggage up to my third-floor room a hassle. For the price, I expected more in terms of amenities and overall comfort. It seems like the lodge relies heavily on its location, and with limited alternatives nearby, there's little incentive to modernize. If proximity to the parks is your top priority, this place works—but temper your expectations when it comes to value and quality.

Very clean and comfortable rooms that are displaced from the main lodge. The main lodge has an excellent bar and dining room. It also has a well stocked shop that will meet all your requirements. The main positive is the lodges outstanding and unique location within Sequoia NP - there is no better place to stay to explore the wonders of this very special place!!

Very old amenities (which is not a problem per se), hard to sleep because of very worn mattress and lots of noise coming from other rooms (not because of noisy neighbours but because of no sound insulation and very old structure). Food at lunch was terrible, we ordered two sandwiches (over $16 each) and were served two cold ones wrapped in aluminium foil and prepared the day before. Food quality at dinner also pretty poor. Breakfast was ok. Overall the place it’s very far from being how it’s depicted in pictures and on the website, it’s very far from being worth what it costs but I guess it’s the only lodge there so they can afford to do that.

Great location. The restaurant was really nice and the whole set up of the lodge was awesome. Would go back in warmer weather. Rooms are a little outdated but very clean and comfortable.

Although the rooms are showing a little of their ageit's a great place to stay if you want close access to Sequoia NP. Parking is close by and a very popular restaurant (booking advised is a short walk or by car.

Great place to stay in Sequoia NP and close to Great hikes (Tokopah Falls, Congress, Big Trees, and other trails). A bit understaffed, as the NPs are struggling with this administration, but all the staff we’re doing their best.

Parking was far from room, had to lug bags a very long distance even though a road access could be used for baggage dropoff. Some staff members were very rude, didn't seem to want to be there. Buildings need attention, very rundown. Location was good.
