The room was basic but very clean. A few cracked and chipped crockery but nothing major. The staff of happy camp were friendly and helpful but this is attached to another Camping site called Lido di Sesto and some of the bar staff/wait staff there were rather rude. You have to pay extra to use the Sun loungers and have to wear a swimming cap at the pool and you have to be super quiet between the hours of one and three pm but they think it’s okay then to carry on playing loud banging music until one in the morning so not quite sure that’s fair. It does seem like the poor end of Lake Maggiore to be honest. Site itself is a little scruffy looking with a lot of residents living there long-term and you also get road noise and train noise. If I’d not paid in advance I might have looked for something better. This is me be kind!
