Unacceptable!

When we arrived the shower had not been cleaned. Contacted the front desk about it and the lack of linens. He informed us that he was the only one here and could not refund us because we booked through hotels.com nor could we switch rooms because they are full. We traveled in from Texas so trying to find another hotel on a Friday night with two kids was out of the question. My wife went to the front desk to pickup the extra linens then we went to the store for cleaning supplies for the shower. The hotel is under construction also, heavy smell of paint on the 3rd floor. Never again! Sometimes you have to make do under the circumstances that you’re dealt but I’ll never set foot in another Holiday Inn!

My room was spotless but it had a mildew odor. It was very strong once you enter the room. Some of the outlets didn’t work for charging. Just small things that need to be fixed.

Property is under renovation, but the new look is very nice. Staff is extremely warm. Rooms are spacious and look out over Louisiana Downs race track.

I liked everything except the breakfast. Saturday mornings breakfast was cold. The foold eas not warm, even though it was in the warming trays. They also served link and pattie dausage. There was not bacon. We felt that was strange. I have stayed at othe holiday inn express and their breakfast was much better.
