Beachside Private Vacation Home w/ Large Heated Pool

Come and enjoy a stress free vacation at this island paradise three bedroom two bath private home with heated pool. The property has recently been renovated and finished with all new furniture throughout. Pulling up to this private home via the circular drive you will be greeted by its Key West style exterior surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. Enter the home through french doors and notice the volume ceilings and open spaces. To the right you enter the spacious family room furnished with a large comfortable sofa and 55" flatscreen smart TV. This great room is also furnished with a queen-size Murphy Bed for extra sleeping arrangements in comfort for a maximum of 8 guests. Just around the corner is a full kitchen equipped with 4-piece appliance package among other small appliance and features an ample sized island/breakfast bar. Open and adjacent to the kitchen you will find a large dining table creating an eat-in kitchen atmosphere. Coupled with ability for the main living area and kitchen to open out to a large screened deck overlooking the pool creates a great indoor/outdoor living environment perfect for enjoying the cooler evenings or entertaining with family and friends. Moving back inside the master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bedroom set and 55" flatscreen smart TV. Large sliding glass doors allows instant access to the screened deck and pool below. The ensuite bathroom features a beautiful glass enclosure shower, large jetted whirlpool tub, and his/her sinks. On the opposing side of the home you will find the two additional guest bedrooms, both furnished with queen-size beds and 55" flatscreen smart TV's. The two guest bedrooms share a full size bath with tub/shower combo.

The house is located on the north end of Siesta Key, so there is easy access getting on and off the key as well as to grocery stores, Southside Village, Downtown and the new CineBistro movie theatre within the newly redeveloped SouthGate Mall with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. The home is located just a 5 minute walk to shell beach, approx. 1.5 miles to Siesta Key village, and 2 miles from the main Siesta Key public beach. Utilize any of the many free ride (tips only) services available on the island.

Other great things nearby: Water-sports including paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, golf, mini-golf, Selby Botanical Gardens, Ringling Museum, cinemas, St Armand's Circle, art galleries, supermarkets, gourmet markets including Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Morton's, downtown Sarasota upscale shops, restaurants and galleries are all within a 10 minute drive.

Kitchen was adequate.Pool was nice once the water warmed up to expected temperature, but it took longer than I would have liked.The main problem was outside with the traffic noise which made it unpleasant at times to be sitting out by the pool.If you had other things going on by the pool such as kids playing, then I suppose you might not notice the sounds as much.Inside the house was clean, quiet.

Beautiful home with a great central location

This home was situated on a street that was under renovation from a hurricane the year prior. However, all repairs were complete on this home with the exception of a few outdoor ones that were being completed while we were there. Home was spacious and clean. Every issue that arose was addressed promptly. We even left our laptop and they allowed us to have it mailed it to us. The pool was partially in the shade all day which was nice. There was also a screened in balcony overlooking the pool. Kitchen was nicely stocked with necessities. The property also had beach chairs, coolers, pool floats, etc to use. The only complaint I had was the distance to the beach. There are several beach accesses around the key, but the one in walking distance off of Shell Road was closed I’m assuming due to the storm. We had to drive to public beach access every day. Would recommend!

Had a great time! House was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We didn’t need to bring anything for our beach days since the owners supplied lots of beach items (umbrella, wagon chairs etc) The house is within walking distance of a small beach but it was too small for spending the day but we were able to drive to the main beach area that had plenty of parking and a huge beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly fit our needs

This was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and one infant. (parents and 2 married sons). This home has several gathering places for all of us to hang out together, yet we all had our own private space. Gracious host and prompt responses when needed. Everyone loved it and had a great vacation. I wish it could have lasted another week!

Great Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Shell Beach House. The property was clean. The pool was great - we paid extra to have it heated. It does require a drive to get to Siesta Key beach which was not a problem for us because with a 9 month old, we utilized the pool more than the beach. Shell beach (a very small beach) is within walking distance and my 4 year old enjoyed that. Being on the corner of a main road, there was some loud traffic on the weekend but it calmed down after 10 pm or so. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Great place for a family vacation!

Great location and spacious

The home was nice and spacious and great for having adult age kids. Nice having rooms with queen size and king size beds. Downside would be the WiFi. None of us had our phones on WiFi, and could only use one TV at a time and that still buffered. Had to have property manager come in. But it was still a problem. Definitely could not work remotely from there.

We loved our stay here! The outside oasis would bring us to come back here again. The pool and downstairs patio was wonderful. Would love to have had an outside bathroom but other than that it was a wonderful experience. Not in the super touristy area but a 5-7 min drive to the beach, which was a plus for us.

Beautiful House

This house itself was beautiful and fit us all perfectly. Has everything you need. Pool was fun too. The biggest downfall for us was location. I thought we could walk to the beach. You can walk to a pile of sand no bigger than a front lawn but its not really a beach. It was packed in that area so no where to even sit. You can't go outside that little area as there are rocks. So for us we had to load up and go to public parking which of course is super busy. I was under the impression we could have true beach access just walking distance. I live to take coffee and walk along the beach in the morning. Just couldn't do that. The trolly was available but we came at a very busy time so having to wait wasn't fun. Overall the property was beautiful and had we known more about the beach area ahead of time it might not have been a disappointment.

Great Place but Traffic is so Loud!

House and pool were great. Beach access is a lot further than what is stated in description if you have more than 2 people wanting to go to beach. Traffic is awful and extremely loud!! Cars are constant drag racing and music loudest you have ever heard! Siesta needs to consider having some noise ordinance for sure!!

Great house on a great island

We loved the house! Lots of space, good location. The only downfall is that the house is located on a busy street corner so it was a bit noisy early in the morning (construction traffic coming onto the island) and late in the evening (motorcycles and other loud cars speeding past). Otherwise a very quiet neighborhood. House had everything we needed for a great stay. Would definitely stay here again!
