Cute little spot ! Amenities not as listed - Host was responsive when aware of the concerns. This would be a lovely stay if amenities where cleared posted ! Unfortunately it was not for what we needed.

Beds were very comfortable. They thought of all the little things for a Virbo. However there was only one towel per bed. Two rooms are up stairs and two beds downstairs. The basement is a little bit musty smelling. Our overall stay was very pleasant. Comfy sitting area. Check in is 4pm, we didn’t get our instructions for entry till after 4pm, but our arrival was late anyway so it didn’t matter. The owner was very nice.

The house was clean and comfortable. Although amenities such as a dishwasher, second bathroom, fitness room and pool are mentioned the house does NOT have any of those things. The first time I sat on a kitchen chair, the chair collapsed and I fell backward, hitting my head on the floor. No injury thank goodness! When we looked at the chair, it was missing a bolt. We moved it out of the kitchen .There are laundry facilities, in the mostly unfinished basement, where the other two bedrooms are located. The floor is was wet, from the water heater so we stepped around the water.I did contact the host and mentioned all of the above. He was unaware of any of the issues that I mentioned and said that there had never been a problem prior to our visit.As the listing was not as described as well as the broken chair and wet floor, I a giving a three star rating.The host usually replies the same day and did offer us two free nights for our next stay. If you need a quiet, clean and comfortable house while in Smooth Rock Falls, this house is a good place to stay.

Cute decor inside but access to enter difficult and not great for kids or with dogs

Good location for exploring Northern Ontario/Hwy 11 area parks. Inside decor very cute retro and comfortable space. However we arrived after dark (I'd let owner know we'd arrive late at night) - no outside/porch lights on. Front door/entry area permanently bolted shut, only access through unlit back door off a back porch which was not in the access instructions (also a safety issue in case of fire -- only one entry/exit.) Another safety issue -- several groundfloor windows could not be locked. Yard not fully fenced and gate has no latch - would be helpful to state clearly when prospective guest inquires re: coming with dogs (or kids). Smaller bedroom had no remote to use TV and fan very noisy.

The property being small still accommodated 8 people comfortably! Location is perfect just a short walk to grocery stores,lcbo, confectionery store and park for young kids ! Nice quiet street and deck was a great addition to enjoy the beautiful sunshine ! Thanks
