Perfect location 1 min walk from main square and 6 min walk from train station. So close to so many shops and restaurants. The staff was so wonderful and packed us a breakfast to go for our 6 am check out. Breakfast every morning was delicious and balcony was a perfect spot to play Italian cards at night. Would stay here again!

A wonderful experience at Palazzo Starace! To start, this is a very convenient location to the port and train/bus station, it was walkable for us, even with luggage. The staff here is outstanding! Helpful, polite, warm and welcoming. The room we had was spacious and clean. Some may say it needed updating, however we found it charming and beautiful with marble throughout. The breakfast here is also wonderful - overlooking one of the main walking thoroughfares in Sorrento we enjoyed sitting there. The food was fresh and delicious. Made to order eggs, plenty of pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, espresso and more. This is also very walkable to all of the top rated restaurants and so much shopping, literally steps from the entryway. If you are looking for a place to stay in Sorrento, I highly recommend Palazzo Starace and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent location. Off via Corso 30second walk to square. Cant get better then that! The ladies are nice, breakfast is great but the same as all the breakfasts in Italy. Things that I didnt like.1) only one key (2) no staff after 9pm. If you have an issue ie a/c you have to wait until morning. (3)No concierge services. Not knowledge about typical tourist questions. If u are looking for that go to a hotel. (4) shower was huge but impossible to shower without getting the bathroom soaked. (5) basic requests felt like extreme requests ie.. extra pillows.( they were meet but you felt like you were bothering them especially the man) Also if stairs are an issue for you dont say here not wheelchair accessable. 4 floors by stair. Keep that in mind

perfect services/ poor room quality and noisy

Great welcome when we arrived and they helped us to bring our bag upstairs at the first floor. Nice little street and very close to the main shop street and historical area. The location is great. Good breakfast the morning and nice living room to take it. The room is large and we choose one room in the court to avoid noise during night. Everything was great till we spent the first night. Bed was very uncomfortable and it looks like you are sleeping on a pneumatic bed as there is a plastic wrapped as you can have for kids beds. Very unpleasant feeling and noisy every time you move. Mattress was extremely hard. On top of it there was a party all night in the backyard and a lot of drunk people yelling, laughing from midnight till at least 5am. It was a very tough night. Also a lot of little things unfixed, toilet moving and water on the floor, no door for the shower and it was very hard to not have water in the entire bathroom and few others to be fixed in the room. Poor isolation and you can hear main entrance door, phone at the reception... When we advised them of the issues they just looked at us like perplex and nothing happened. That`s why I am not very impressed by Palazzo Starace and will consider to go somewhere else at my next visit in May. It doesn`t worth the price for the room/sleep quality.

An excellent location right in the heart of the historic centre. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. A sumptuous buffet breakfast. Walkable to key public transport options and easily accessible to local sights, restaurants and shops. Street noise could be quite loud, especially on weekend nights, ear plugs definitely an essential.

Great central location to stay in Sorrento for a very good price value. The staff was helpful in advance to organise the cheapest parking with a free pick up of the car. Also helped to organize tour to Capri. Points of improvement: - breakfast variation; could be due to Covid and no buffet possible, but after 3 days we were a bit tired of the same things - during the day we couldn’t reach the hotel, would be good if phone is transferred to a mobile if the staff is not there
