## Space

Amazing Location!

Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11 unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with an en-suite bath with walk-in shower, kitchenette (induction double cooktop available upon request) w/Keurig machine, a King bed as well as a work desk. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm-8am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

Access

The unit is accessed off of Poplar Ave and has direct access from the parking area and has 1 assigned parking spot, space #4. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks. The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file.

Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

Electric car charging (shared amenity)

South Lake Chalet offers 5 EV chargers for our registered guests’ use only. Please scan the QR code posted above chargers to follow payment instructions. Spots for unit 1 have access to one Tesla (white), and one J1772 (black) charger. Unit spots 2,3 and 4 share one white Tesla charger. Spots 7, 8, and 9 share one J1772 black charger. Unit spots 10, 11 and the ADA spot (please park with a valid placard only, to avoid being towed by the City) share one Tesla charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests.

Neighborhood

Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Beach Access Vouchers

All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

Check in and checkout process was very quick and easy. Communication was great throughout our entire stay, when we did have questions. Loved the kitchenette, and the fireplace. Location was great and close to everything, would definitely stay here again.

We went on 4th of July weekend, so high prices were to be expected, This place was in the perfect location (went to concert at Harvey’s), very clean and had all we needed. We loved the accommodations! The staff was so communicative about check in, and we understood they were there if we needed anything. Parking was right out front which was so nice. Also pet friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

Nicely remodeled room

The room itself was nicely remodeled and well appointed with kitchen supplies, etc. If you like being close to the casinos, this would be a great spot for you, only a couple of blocks away.

Quick Tahoe Getaway

Nicely updated room in an older converted hotel. 200 yard walk to Casinos, Heavenly Gondola and shopping area. Bed was super comfortable and room had everything we needed. Fireplace was a nice touch.

I have stayed in countless amounts of hotels nationwide and abroad. Nothing felt closer to home then the chalet in lake Tahoe. 10/10 id recommend to anyone from the average to a brain surgeon even the president.

Cozy and cure

The location of this place was perfect for walking to the Harvey venue and scooting to restaurants. We had an issue with the AC that the host promptly communicated about and worked to solve. The place itself had all the touches of home and very clean. We loved staying here and will be back.
