My sheets had not been changed in room 534 we discovered it at midnight, so we took a blanket out of closet to lay on top of sheets we pulled back the covers and it was all wrinkled with some hair at the foot of bed

Out-of-the-Way Gem

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which is in a location that I had to study Google Maps to find. It seems quite new and they did not appear to have as many other guests as I would have anticipated given how appealing the property is. I had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant (where there were few other diners), including an excellent gumbo with lots of crawfish tails (I LOVE crawfish dating back to when I lived in New Orleans.) The entree was an equally excellent and tasty redfish dish. I imagine their desserts are great as well, but I am on a restricted sugar diet and had to pass on those. I also had a sit-down breakfast in that same restaurant the next day, not the buffet serve-yourself style that many hotels offer for those eager to eat and run. For starters, I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with fruit to which I added some blueberries that I had brought with me. I also had scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to a good cup of coffee. I had a very pleasant stay (one night on my way to New Orleans) and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for temporary accommodations in the Spartanburg area. I would certainly stay here again. The only downside of this hotel is the relatively obscure location, but some may consider that a plus.

My family of 6 stayed at this hotel on our way to South Carolina. It was pretty, safe, and clean! We have been searching for a good hotel to stay at halfway and this has become it. The rooms look brand new and some even half a balcony that overlook the hotel. They have large rooms which accommodated us great. Not to mention if you are looking for a good cocktail in the evening the bar looks very nice with a bunch of TVs!
