At the Winchester House, we RENT our UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS for travelers coming to the St. George area on Business, or just for FUN activities.
EACH BEDROOM is in a SEPERATE LISTING, so you may have a opportunity to choose the room that suits you best.
EACH BEDROOM has it's own private Bath. This Bedroom has a CLAW FOOT TUB. and SHOWER. Each bedroom has a key to enter the home through the front door and go up to your PRIVATE BEDROOM.
Even though you are ONLY renting a BEDROOM, please feel free to enjoy the rest of our home while you are here. We do respect your privacy though and would also hope that you would do the same as we DO LIVE in the home also.
A lite meal in the morning will be provided to start your day as we are Out In The Country and not next to Restaurants as a Motel or Hotel would be.
We are located just 5 miles from town only 8 miles from the Freeway for traveling back and forth to activities. We are also only 1 1/2 miles from the entrance to Snow Canyon State Park .

What a lovely home!! My host Diane was so welcoming and friendly. She made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. It was wonderful to soak in the claw foot tub after a long day of softball. The area that the house is located in is just beautiful and just a short drive to downtown St. George. I enjoyed my stay so much!

Not so private after all.

My fellow Vets and I had a terrible experience at this property that left us extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, Karen, the property manager who lives next door, seemed to take pleasure in harassing us. The situation began when we were trying to enjoy the private amenities and Karen started messaging us about our music at only 6:30pm. It was supposed to be a peaceful evening spent with comrades, but it quickly turned into a nightmare due to Karen's incessant demands. Furthermore, the house isn't as private as advertised, since Karen was constantly watching our every move and even came over to address a teenager about our music because we didn't have our phones on hand. The trash cans were also an issue, as four out of the five cans were already full when we arrived, and Karen told us we needed to put all five cans out or else we'd be charged a $75 fee. Additionally, the checkout instructions were unreasonable. Karen wanted us to separate the sheets from the comforters and place the comforters on the bed. That explained the comforters stains. We were left wondering whether or not the comforters were even washed. If you do choose to stay at this house, please be sure to take video and picture evidence of everything when you arrive and leave. Unfortunately, Karen will stop at nothing to try to make a bogus claim against you. In addition to the other issues we experienced : There was an extra cost to get the 7th bedroom. We strongly advise future guests to clarify all fees.

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our first time staying at a B&B. So much for such a great value! Diane was an exceptional host! Her attention to even the smallest of details made our stay so pleasant. So comfortable and welcoming, just what we needed! The location was perfect for us to visit friends in Santa Clara with beautiful scenery we enjoyed so much. Diane prepared and presented a delicious, light breakfast in her beautiful dining room for us each morning and her other guests were lovely to visit with. She was a kind and gracious host. We felt very comfortable staying in the Abby room at the Winchester House!

Wonderful Place to Stay! Feels Like Home!

This room and Bed and Breakfast was wonderful to stay in! Diane the owner is the sweetest and they really open their home to you! The room is so sweet and nice to stay in! The bed is suuuuper comfy and the claw foot bath was AMAZING with a bubble bath! The area is stunning the view from their dining room shows the entire sunrise and the backyard the sunset! The breakfast was absolutely perfect! berried a banana and a muffin to start my day before an interview! If your heading to St. George for a business trip or pleasure this is the place to stay! Diane,her husband and the best dog Duncan were unbelievably welcoming and told me all about Ivins and St. George area and I hope I get to return someday to enjoy their company! Big Hugs~ Abby

Quaint and Friendly

My daughter and I met in St. George to attend the Parade of Homes. We stayed in the Abby room and had a lovely time. The clawfoot tub provided a relaxing end to each day of the parade. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast with the other guests was lovely! I highly recommend this accommodation!
