Everything was amazing except rocks being thrown at our cars in the driveway on Saturday evening and cars parking in non parking spaces blocking one of our cars for about a day & a half. We loved the hot tub, having a bathroom in every room and a comfy living space upstairs and downstairs. My family said this was their favorite vacation rental in ten years!
Property was as advertised ,all rooms were clean and all beds were extremely comfortable. Parking is a little tricky if you drive a larger Vehicles like we do and had three vehicles. It appeared that the community is adding parking to make this a little better
16 family members met in St. George for Spring Break at a home in the Desert Color Resort neighborhood. The home was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen as well set up with plenty of dishes and other items necessary for making meals for a large group. The included amenities made the stay even more enjoyable, including the private hot tub on the homes deck. We were close to St George, and enjoyed several hikes and bike rides, both in the beautiful nearby Snow Canyon State Park, as well as other mountain bike trails that were a fairly close drive. Zion National Park is a very doable day trip from here, and highly recommended as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our Spring Break here, and would happily return someday.
We loved this property! Desert Color is so lovely and has so many great amenities. We were in town for Pinners Conference and made a family vacation out of it. The kids loved the bunk room, the resort pool and the walking trails. The house is clean and great quality! Check in and out processes were easy and straightforward. Would definitely recommend!
The property was perfect for our vacation. It was very spacious and the management made it super easy to get checked in and into the house! The neighborhood was amazing and had great walking/ biking paths right next to the home. One tiny downside with this property was that there was some left over food on some of the decor pillows on the couch and long black dog hair that was all over the rugs, carpet and even in one of the main floor beds. Overall we would definitely stay here again, such an amazing stay!
Our family had so much fun this weekend and we made some great memories. So grateful for the amazing people at Red Rock Vacation Rentals for being so great to work with! I definitely recommend them for your stay at Desert Color!! Canât say enough how much we loved our time together here!
We loved the property and our stay there.
I do have some suggestions that I texted the company about to make guests visit a little more pleasant. I can also send those to you if you want.
This rental property was amazing, we stayed for 6 days and had such a great time. We loved the amenities (pickleball courts, lagoon, and the private hot tub). We also loved the kitchen and appreciated all of the dishes and cooking utensils since we ended up cooking quite a bit during our stay. The home we stayed in was a 5 minute walk from the lagoon and pickleball courts so it wasnât bad at all, we actually enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. The community, Desert Color, is in a great location. We werenât too far from Saint George and we ended up going to Big Shots golf (it was like TopGolf) that was less than a 5 minute drive from our rental. We also went to Zion National Park which was an hour from where we stayed. Overall, we had an incredible experience! The only negative thing that I noticed was it wasnât super clean in one of the bathrooms, there was some hair left behind from the last people that stayed there and it looked like there was mouthwash on the wall next to the sink. But besides that, the property was super clean and beautiful! Thanks for hosting us, we will definitely come back in the future!
This home was beautiful, so clean, and so perfect for our group of 13, ages newborn to 65.
The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and all sorts of pots and pans and even a griddle! They also had a Keurig and Sodastream. We didnât run into any item we wished theyâd had.
The house also had plenty of bath towels, and tons of pool towels.
If youâre bringing your dog, they do have two different sized dog crates in the garage, and dog bowls to use in the pantry.
Our kids loved the hot tub and the tv on the patioâ it was the perfect spot to gather each night.
There were only two main drawbacks to this homeâ because itâs in a very new subdivision, donât count on having cell phone serviceâ of our group, only one person with AT&T had service in the home, everyone else with Verizon had no service as soon as you got close to the subdivision. Service was also hit or miss at the lagoon or pool. The WiFi was great, though.
The biggest downside to us was pool and Lagoon are about a 10 minute walk from the home. Our teenagers would walk back and forth, but for the most part, we had to drive. Alsoâ we booked this home because we were under the impression the Lagoon would be swimmable and funâ it is FREEZING!! We were there in April, and it was soo cold. Because the Lagoon was so cold, the pool and hot tub were super overcrowded. To paddle board, we used tie downs we brought to strap them to our car.
Overallâ we loved this home and plan on coming back!
Beautiful home but tight rooms and tiny bathrooms- very little parking
The home was beautiful and well-maintained. The area was beautiful but a ways from stores and food. However, they are building some in the area. The pool & Lagoon area were cool! We were there in March so too cold to swim in the Lagoon but we used the paddle boats & that was fun!
The bathrooms and bedrooms were tiny! There was little room for personal belongings such as suitcases. The bathrooms had to have been designed by a man. There was almost no counter space. Shelves on the wall would've helped.
It was pet-friendly. They even had kennels in the garage available (although this wasn't listed on the website so we had our own.) But, there is no grass anywhere nearby. It was really hard for my 2 puppies to learn to go on the rocks of the zero-scape landscaping there.
The front door was on the opposite side of the unit from the parking and it was the only entrance we had access to. Garage door remotes or a code for the keyless were not provided. So every time any of us arrived, someone had to go around to the front door to open the garage door. And guest parking was lacking. Luckily most of the units around us were not finished so there weren't many vehicles there. But for 8-10 units, there were only 4 guest parking spots. 2 garage spots and 2 driveway spots meant a lot of moving vehicles around. So, there really should be better parking. We will go back to Arcadia VRBOs next trip. We've stayed there before and despite being more expensive, they have a better setup.
