The property was ok. The staff was very rude 95% of the time. They cannot of good and beverages at every restaurant. Asked for water for my room for 3 days the 4th day it came. Everyone there had the same experience of people we met. Not on single person that I let including myself will be back or refer this place

While the resort in itself was nice, the staff were not pleasant except for the women working at the front desk. Very rude actually. Food choices are scarce and we were never able to get reservations for the restaurants. The app needs updating as well. Will not be back.

This hotel was wonderful, thanks to its breathtaking landscape and seascape. The beach was simply stunning—calm, serene, and perfect for relaxing. My room was always well-stocked with drinks and kept clean throughout my stay. I dined at the buffet the entire time, and there was always something different and delicious to try. I appreciated the mix of local and international dishes. Even though I wasn’t a Diamond Club member, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The Nexus Mystic Cades Reef Boat tour was truly the highlight of my trip—an unforgettable experience. Visiting Church Valley Beach is something I’ll always remember; the shades of turquoise and blue of the water were absolutely mesmerising. I also highly recommend taking the historical tour with Charmed Adventures for a deeper appreciation of the country's rich history. We visited so many places in one day!

I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at Royalton Antigua was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this resort is nowhere near the standard you'd expect from a so-called "luxury all-inclusive" property. Here's what we endured: No Air Conditioning: The AC was non-functional throughout our stay, making it incredibly uncomfortable, especially at night. Frequent Power Outages: Blackouts were a regular occurrence, with little communication or explanation from the staff. Dirty Tap Water: The water coming out of the faucet was cloudy and visibly dirty—completely unsafe and disgusting. Long Waits for Meals: Dinner service routinely took 2 to 3 hours, with disorganized staff and painfully slow service. Limited Food & Drink Options: For an all-inclusive resort, the food and beverage selection was shockingly limited, with many items "unavailable" each day. Empty Pools: Many of the pools were drained or closed without notice or reason, eliminating one of the main attractions of a beach resort. The entire stay felt like a bait-and-switch. The resort looks good in photos, but the reality is drastically different. Management seems overwhelmed or indifferent, and basic comforts like clean water and reliable electricity were not provided. I would absolutely not recommend this resort to anyone. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. This was not just a bad vacation—it was a complete failure of hospitality.

Food options were good, I also like how dinner was moved to different areas of the property. Staff not very friendly, or proactive, on 5/29 it was raining and our room started leaking unsure if the water was from the rain or if someone above left their water running, leaving our room floor entrance covered with water. I called maintenance and notified house keeping, this was between the hours at 9 and 10am. When I returned to the my room at around 2:45PM. with my infant in my arms, I fell to the floor because no one came to clean up, I had to call again 2 time angrily af before someone came up.

Absolutely the most terrible vacation experience we have ever had. The check in staff was so rude and demeaning. We got there a day late and was still told we couldn’t get into our room that we were paying for until 3 due to procedure. This is after traveling for 33 hours and the airline losing our luggage. Our room keys stopped working the first night, I had to walk down there 3 times before they sent someone to fix the problem which was the battery in the door. I kept being told I had demagnetized it with my phone. So hateful and rude. The air conditioner in our room did not work until the last night there and that was after maintenance had fixed it 4 times. We requested two fans and never received them, requested a room change and was told there was nothing available. Whoever manages that check in staff should be ashamed of themselves. There were a couple of kind employees in the concierge that we were grateful for but I would rather stay at a not so great property and be treated with a little human decency. I would never recommend this Royalton to anyone.

This is an older hotel, and while it’s far from perfect, the renovated rooms are clean, modern, and quite comfortable. The real highlight — and the reason to come — is the beach. It’s truly a gem: calm, deep, and wave-free, just like you’d find in parts of Greece or Italy. The warm, tranquil water is perfect for long, safe swims, and especially ideal if you’re traveling with small children. The food is average. It could be better, but to be fair, the local food culture on the island isn’t a standout. The weakest point is definitely the so-called à la carte restaurants — long waits (sometimes up to two hours) for meals that are often underwhelming. All in all, this is a solid 3-star resort. It’s not luxury, but if you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday with swimmable, serene waters, it delivers
