Room was not ready 3 hours after check in and I was told it would be another 40 minutes beyond my arrival. Room bathroom floors were sticky, there was peeling paint, 1 of 2 bathroom light bulbs were not working and no bathroom exhaust fan.

The light bulb was burnt out and no one came to fix it. I had to take the remote down to the front desk to get new batteries in it. The windows looked broken out.

Window boarded up in front of the hotel seemed sketchy. Was given keys for two different rooms as upon entry they were both dirty. After the 3rd room. The hallway smelled of weed upon entering and people were angry, arguing and slamming doors in the room next door.

I brought my 4 kids on a last minute trip to St. Louis to explore the Coty Museum! Checkin was a longer than usual process. Once we got our keys and headed to the room, we realized we did not get the room we booked (family suite with 2 queens and a bunk bed). We were given 2 doubles and a chair. I went back down to the desk and waited 10 minutes while the front desk employee smoked in his car - he was seemingly the only staff working. After he came back, I was told they didn’t actually have that room available. I went back to our room determined to make it work. My kids were excited to get to the pool, so we headed down for a break. The pool was murky and filled with trash and lost toys. My kids said they couldn’t take a step without their feet hitting something - they found necklaces, toddler toys, broken sticks, and literal garbage. After 5 minutes, they were done. We went back to the room to try and settle in. Our room felt stuffy when we walked in, so I went to turn on the temperature/fan unit by the window - except it didn’t turn on at all and was broken. I went back down to the desk to ask for maintenance to come look at it and was told that there was no one and that there were no other rooms to move to. I went back to our room to figure out a plan and see if I could find another hotel - it’s not easy finding a hotel for a family of 5, especially the day of! It was 6pm at this point, but I was eventually able to find another hotel nearby. Overall very poor experience.
