Listing said parking was free but on site, we were told that’s only during the weekend. Other nights there's a discounted rate of $6. Ww checked in Saturday evening and out Monday morning before 9. They charged the $6 fee for Sunday night/Monday morning.

The location is good. Surrounding area is clean and safe. Close to metro station. Room is a bit small but clean and tidy. The shower has electronic control system. Very fancy! Breakfast buffet has many options. Staff were nice and professional.

Good room, Great breakfast. Kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Friendly staff in general though… We were quite rushed out before check out. They came into our room at 9:30am while we were still in just getting going…(ck out was 11am). We were asked 2 more times if we were out of the room yet. All before 10am.

Dirty hotel.

Hotel is under renovation which was not disclosed at all. Only found out after checking in and going to room. The rooms were very poorly clean and some equipment was broken already (pictures were taken). Overall, the hotel was filthy and that led to a very uncomfortable stay. The only reason we decided to stay was because our air conditioning is out at home and it is 90 degrees there.

The hotel is a beautiful old, unique hotel located in downtown St. Louis. Very close to the arch. However, the parking is difficult because the garage is located in the back, around the corner from the hotel itself. It is included in your room fee, so that’s nice. The rooms are not updated, though they are working on them now, not sure when that will be completed. It is a large hotel, so I’d think it will be a while
