Welcome to your cozy hidden gem! The perfect spot for work, travel, or relaxation. It offers peaceful comfort and easy access to soulard and downtown. With 3 comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a relaxing vibe, itâs the ideal spot to unwind after a long day.
The host was accommodating and the amenities is expected. The location was centrally located for us and the area is quiet. Would love to stay on my next visit
George was great to respond to questions, I would definitely stay at the location again. Everything went smooth with the arrival and the departure. Our visit was great and worry free.
Adorable place! I love these old Soulard buildings so much. The courtyard is neat! You must try the two coffee shops across the street. Amazing! Host communicated very quickly. Little fire place and shower head were nice touches. The only push would be to get hooks for towels in the bathroom. :)
Strengths: Host was very communicative. Location was greatânearby restaurants, coffee shops, and the farmers market. Master bedroom bed was comfy. Weaknesses: This rental needs a deep cleaning. It is historic, so I give some grace for that. But the kitchen had caked on grime on the glass top range. The refrigerator and dishwasher looked like it had just been wiped down with water and a sponge. The blinds were dirty where something that had splashed on it. There was mouse droppings in the bedroom closets but since the floors hadnât been swept well, I donât know how old it was. We saw no evidence of pests other than the droppings. There was a wifi issue the last night which he was fast to respond to once I notified him the next morning. When I moved the modem from the floor, there was a womanâs fingernail underneath. Street parking can be difficult on the weekend evenings when the area is busy. Linens were minimalâcomforter on master bedroom had no duvet. Also, listing states there is a washer/dryer but there isnât one in the rental. There is a coin operated set in the basement of another building and a laundromat nearby, but listing doesnât detail that at all. The laminate floors are peeling and the updates that have been made are in need of repair. I really think there is room for improvement here. The buildings are historicâmost of the buildings in this area date back to the late 1800s. That makes this place really unique but it hasnât been updated well.
The whole stay was really easy to navigate - clear instructions, simple easy to follow directions. The property had everything we needed, and was in a great location - so many walk able places to eat and get coffee. Host communication was perfect.
Was just what we needed for the price point for our trip. A little hard to figure out where the apartment was but the parking was pretty easy for street parking, everything went super smooth.
We had a wonderful time celebrating a group of friends birthdays while going to a Cardinals game and hanging out in the Soulard area. My friends and I love the Soulard area and all it has to offer as well as being so close to other attractions. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Everything went smoothly and we will definitely be back!!
Very clean and cozy. I would stay again!!! Only complaint is parking isn't ideal. Not property owners fault but I would be sure to search area and know your surroundings before travel to avoid confusion at time of arrival. Other than that, 5 stars for sure!
We were just passing through Saint Louis and wanted to go to the Arch. Prices downtown were 500 and up. Found George's place and the price was right. Not going to lie, the drive in that WAZE took us had me thinking twice. But the Soulard neighborhood was very nice. An old New Orleans style and look. There were many restaurants and people out walking. Golf carts riding around. The apartment can use some work. But for us it worked out just right. George was great with communicating to us and allowed us to check in early so we could get to the Arch in time for our trip to the top. I would stay here again and have more days for exploring. While we were leaving we drove past a large Farmers Market that would have been nice to walk around. Next time.
It was sufficient; great location. For the price it worked out. Could use some TLC all over. Wouldnât call it spotless; itâs been well used. Could really use a deep cleaning. And new blinds in the kitchen. Donât regret booking but probably wouldnât return.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Location was convenient and interior was very nice and clean. Kitchen had lots of staples that made things easy. Great AC for hot St Louis weekend!
Conveniently located and easy to access. It was clean and very simple. We had a bit of trouble the next day with one of our group being sick, the host was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend!
