Unit is un usable. It was filthy, bugs on the windowsills, floors where filthy and sticky, months worth of old mail in a kitchen cupboard, garbage stuffed in a different kitchen cupboard, closet doors in the “ master bedroom “ literally fell off when we opened them to hang our clothes, the carbon monoxide detector was screeching every 90 seconds AND the boxspring in the 2nd bedroom was broken. The bathroom wasn’t stocked with any of the amenities promised in the listing. The master bedroom closet had empty TV boxes in it.the lawn out front was a foot high.
I was ready to bounce immediately but we arrived after 11pm and my husband and son said “ we’ll be fine and we should let the owner know and try to rectify the issues.
SO, first thing in the morning we contacted them. He promised to rectify all the issues. A later in the day call came and he asked US to buy the amenities promised, as he didn’t have time to run to the store. We bought supplies at Target after a 6hr+ day of a conference.
When we returned not one issue had been rectified! The last straw was the curtain rod falling off the wall onto my granddaughter’s head. The listing also says 1 stair into the house . True.But there are 5 stairs to get up the sidewalk to the house.
