Remodeled Kirkwood Guest house

Welcome to our guest house! This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom living space is completely private and ready for your stay. It is equipped with a private balcony, full kitchen, dining area, living room, one bedroom with King bed, and one bathroom. The unit is located above our garage in the back of our property. There is also a patio area with chairs, a firepit and a hot tub that is open for use. Street parking is readily available. It's roughly a 15-20 min walk to downtown Kirkwood(around 1 mile) and about a 20 min drive to downtown STL.

Downtown Kirkwood is a quaint area full of restaurants and shops to explore. The Amtrak station is also very close!

Please note: There is a flight of stairs to get up to the unit. If you need assistance with luggage or anything, just ask!

Please park in the street, we do need access to our driveway. You can use the driveway for loading/unloading as needed.

Great home base for our visit

We were there to visit with family in the immediate area and this was the perfect location to both be close to our family, as well as get to many fun activities around the city. We really appreciated the peaceful street this was on while still being close to major thoroughfares. Location is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood and provided us with everything we needed for our visit.

Just a lovely property on a beautiful street in a wonderful neighborhood. Quiet, peaceful, private and the perfect size for us. The owner was always available to answer any questions. Downtown Kirkwood is just a few blocks away which has a great farmers market and good restaurants. I’d stay there again without question!

Great Kirkwood Getaway

The host was exceedingly kind and this worked perfectly for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. The property is generally quite clean though the finer points of deep cleaning could be slightly better (for example the imitation wood floor could use more than a swiffer cleaning as it was quite dirty for my 1 year old to be crawling on, but this is only an issue if you have a toddler). The inside plastic shower curtain could also stand to be replaced. Otherwise, it was more than adequate, it was quiet, and we found everything to be just as described. The outside stairs are fairly steep, so I wouldn’t love that aspect in winter. The stairs were really sturdy tho and my older in-laws had no problem with them which was great. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Serene retreat

My wife and I were looking to get away and relax for a few days and we found the perfect place. Our host was incredibly accommodating, the town is amazing and only a short and delightful walk away. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back.

Home Away from Home

Ryan was extremely helpful before checking in, during our stay and follow up afterwards. The apartment was clean, questions were answered promptly and we felt extremely comfortable. Location is a residential neighborhood, which adds to the feeling of coming home after enjoying all the city has to offer. Great restaurants nearby!
