Avalon at Clearwater Friendly 2 Bedroom

This apartment is on the second floor, with one flight of stairs to walk (18 steps), an 1100 sq ft two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium unit with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, large living room, and a beautiful patio-type balcony. Master bedroom includes a comfortable queen size bed, private bathroom with a walk-in closet and 49" screen television. Second bedroom is furnished two comfortable full(double) beds . Towels, pillows and linens are included. Dining area provides a table that can easily sit four guests. Specious living room area is furnished with a sectional corner, recliner, coffee table and a flat smart 4K UHD screen 55'' television. Kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, new dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, as well as all the pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Unit also has an in-unit washer and dryer. For your convenience the apartment is accessible via a keyless door lock so you do not have to worry about accidently misplacing your key. Free Cable TV, High-Speed Internet and DVD is included in this rental.

Great affordable condo

My husband and I stayed in the condo April 30th - May7th. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and safe (gated community). It had everything we needed, even beach gear. The pool area was nice and relaxing. The location was great. Everything we needed was within 30 minutes from the condo. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had as well as providing helpful tips. I would highly recommend, and I would definitely stay here again.

Dorothy & Pete communication is awesome and are very caring! Did what the could to try to get us an early checkin which we did not end up needing and we’re super helpful making sure things were well stocked! Very clean, very nice ammenties honestly everything you need for a nice family vacation. Easy access to the beach although little bit of traffic! Stuff close by to do and eat!Overall great trip & host! Would stay again!

Oasis? not really

The property itself was nice. I don’t think the host checks the property after her cleaners cleans it- some things needed cleaned better.I didn’t appreciate the thin walls of the property I could hear the footsteps and movements above us and their morning alarm clock scaring me up each morning.I didn’t appreciate how we were responsible for empty our trash and asked to strip the bed linens and place in washer! Also having to run dishwasher. If it was a major discount perhaps i would not have minded. But for the same price as a resort stay i don’t want to work when on vacation. I would prefer I booked a resort because no resort or hotel i have ever stayed at asked us to be involved in the cleaning process!!! Also the washing machine has a moldy smell and some of our clothing came out smelling quite moldy.Host was friendly enough I did appreciate the recommendation of things to do and places to eat. The property is beautiful the only thing I didn’t appreciate was the noise of the upstairs which is not host fault. But the asking guest to clean, i feel it is not appropriate for someone paying full price.

Excellent Condo

We stayed at this condo for six nights. It was the perfect accommodations for myself, my husband, my two kids (age 7 and 3), and my mom. We all had enough space to spread out and nobody felt cramped. It was nice to have the two bedrooms on opposite sides of the condo so you could have some privacy. The kitchen was very nicely appointed and we appreciated the ability to cook some of our own meals while traveling. The pool was very nice but quite warm. It was great to have a close place to swim if we didn’t feel like going to the beach. The condo was also stocked with some beach basics that were very handy since we travelled from out of state by airplane and obviously couldn’t bring all of those extras with us. They also had lots of handy things for young families (high chair, pack and play, etc). We also loved having the in-unit washer and dryer. It was nice to return home with a suitcase of clean clothes! The only thing that we ran into was the drain plug not staying down on either tub when we tried to give our kids a bath. I communicated this issue to the hosts and they were very quick to respond. They asked if I would like it fixed during our stay but we didn’t find that necessary. I just appreciated how quick they responded and willingness to attend to the fix on our timetable. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it!

Safe, Secure & Comfortable

It is as advertised. It is well appointed, and quite comfortable. Very quiet community which is always a big plus. Responsive owners and very easy to work with. I wasn’t in the area for vacation, but this would be a budget friendly option if you were. It far surpasses any hotel or resort in comfort and the owners are just so kind and easy to work with. Not to mention you can be on the beach in minutes. Of course rent at your own discretion, but for me and mine I’ll certainly recommend this place should they have the need in the future.

Home Away From Home

To start off, the first condo I tried renting for vacation (not this one) definitely gave me the feeling of a scam. I was nervous and backed out and was cautious in selecting another rental to put my mind at ease. Coming from Illinois, I needed to know my family would have a place to stay after driving a very far distance. I read the reviews for this condo and they were all wonderful! Dorothy and Pete were easy to contact and quick to respond and I immediately felt at ease with my decision with this condo. They gave easy to follow instructions for check in and as soon as we walked in my kids lit up and said, “oh wow!!! This place is amazing!” and they were 100% correct! It was clean, beautiful, and had all the accommodations
even little ones you wouldn’t think of. It definitely made us feel like we had a home away from home while far away and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed! If youre looking for a great condo for a family that is close to everything you need nearby, just a short drive to the beach and something that truly makes you feel welcomed, definitely book with Dorothy and Pete! We will definitely be back!

Beautifully Decorated Place with some noise

About half the evenings during our 5 weeks at this lovely condo were quiet enough for sleeping in the master bedroom. The person directly above our rental owns his condo and told me he had more rights than a person such as I who was only renting. Several nights it sounded as if someone was lifting weights and rolling things across the floor with a lot of creaking noises until 2 am. I heard loud rock music the first night but just for one night as the manager did speak with him. The guest room of our rental is on the other end of the condo, and it was reasonably quiet in that bedroom. The guest room beds had lovely metal head and foot boards which the 5 foot10 inch guests found not comfortable on their feet, but my shorter friends loved the room. Every surface was very clean except the top rim of the washing machine & soap dispenser was very moldy, so I spent 1 hour cleaning it with bleach water and paper towels. The area under the refrigerator was also in need of scrubbing with bleach water, so the owners who are out of state need to speak with their cleaning crew. The owners were awesome and mailed me room darkening shades for the guest room and light bulbs too. The pool area was highly enjoyed, and how wonderful at night to view the stars and palm trees while swimming in the pool. If you are not sound sensitive, you will probably enjoy this Condo.
