One of the best locations in Tarpon Springs. House sits on the Gulf Of Mexico over looking Fred Howard beach. Unbelievable views from every room. Great dock where lots of fish can be caught (captains bring their guest on their boats to that fishing hole.) Enjoy dolphins coming by. The house is elevated with 2 stories. First elevated floor has the kitchen, dining area, living room and one bedroom and bathroom. The second elevated floor has the master bedroom with a bathroom in that room and the third bedroom has a queen size bed and a separate bathroom. Big decks off the living area and a covered porch to watch the unbelievable views. Below the house sits a beautiful pool and big area for enjoyment and barbecuing. Very safe neighborhood and house sits in a private atmosphere. Minutes away from a beautiful beach and park. Close to the famous sponge docks and great food.727.967.5710 for more info.

Wonderful host, second time we’ve stayed here and absolutely love this home!!

Ginger and Ken are wonderful host that generally care about your stay. Plenty of privacy, and if you need anything they will always be available for you. The views are amazing and the house is so cozy that it gives you a sense of being right at home. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anybody wanting a truly amazing home for vacation!

Absolutely amazing vacation!!

This home is so beautiful and has it all, waterfront, dock, pool, tons of outdoor space, kayaks, beach supplies, comfortable beds and couches, just everything you’d need! We had an amazing week of relaxation when we wanted it and running around the beach and area when we wanted. It’s a perfect, quiet location where you really don’t have to leave if relaxing and quality family time is what you desire. The host was awesome and available if we needed her, made recommendations for various activities, and was extremely friendly. We didn’t need anything during our stay, everything was at or above expectations!

Truly a Beautiful View

My wife and I spent two quiet and comfortable months in this unique, gracefully aging home. Situated on the St. Joseph Sound tidal flats, the commanding view was mesmerizing, being adjacent to the mangroves and swaying palms. Sea birds soaring overhead and the splashes of fish off the dock gave the place a nature sanctuary feeling. Practically speaking, we really enjoyed the South Asian/India decor in the bedroom suite... but... because the impeccably maintained pool was unheated and El Niño influenced weather prevailed (i. e. cool and overcast), the pool was largely unusable during our stay. And, oh those steep stairs... Now the best part! Ginger and Ken are perfect VRBO hosts... thoughtfully attentive yet blissfully unobtrusive... really good people who decorated the home with a festive Christmas tree prior to our arrival. And, one other thing, Tarpon Springs, a picturesque, Greek influenced city, has a truly inspiring Epiphany celebration in January at Spring Bayou proudly involving many young men from the community. Needless to say, we wholeheartedly recommend this rental.

Breathtaking views!!

We had the most incredible week in this beautiful home. If you are looking for million dollar views and a quiet and relaxing location, this place has it all! We had never been to Tarpon Springs, but we absolutely fell in love with the quaint small town. It’s complete with amazing restaurants, family-friendly activities, and located near a whole array of shops. The house itself felt like home. The kitchen as well as the entire house, was well stocked with pots and pans, plenty of utensils, towels, and etc. They even had a spice rack full of seasonings should you decide to eat in. The pool felt like bathwater, and we lived in it all week. It gets the perfect amount of sun and the outdoor spaces and wraparound porches were my absolute favorite. We were able to see many dolphins as well off of the dock, which was so much fun for kids. Ginger, the host, was so accommodating and always quick to respond. She made the entire process effortless. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We will definitely be returning!

Great Home - Great Location - Great Hosts

We absolutely loved our stay here, and would highly recommend. The house is beautiful with amazing views from every room. And the outside space is just as amazing - there is a covered deck and a covered patio for breaks from the sun, and an amazing pool. The dock is a great place to launch the kayak and paddleboard that is provided. You also cannot beat the location - you are just minutes from Downtown Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks, and just down the road are two great little beaches; Howard Park Beach (which you can see from the house and could reach by kayak if you so choose) and Sunset Beach. And I cannot say enough about the hosts, Ginger and Ken. They are so kind and attentive, checking with us a couple times throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I have rented via VRBO many times throughout Florida, and they were probably the most accommodating hosts. They made us feel most welcome. If you get the chance, book this house and you will not be disappointed.

Family Trip

We stayed with our two teenage daughters and they each brought a friend. The house was perfect. We gave all four girls the space upstairs so they could spread out and we took the room on the main floor. It was a nice separation since we have different sleep schedules than teenage girls!! The outside area was amazing. We swam in the pool which was very nice, used the kayak, paddle boards and had a lot of fun right on property. Tarpon Springs downtown is a pretty short drive away and went down several nights for dinner and just to hang out downtown. A couple of days we rented a boat and cruised around. We had a great time and the owners made everything so easy. They were super responsive and checked in during the week to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend this house, we had such a good time!!!

Scenic and Spacious

Such a lovely home and beautiful view. Being able to see the water, causeway and Fred Howard Park from all three levels was awesome. Host Ginger was so thoughtful in her communications, checking in just the right amount at the beginning of our stay to make sure all was well. Also thoughtful is how much the hosts provide for a stay. The kayak & canoe made for a nice paddle to the causeway (more adventurous folks could reach Fred Howard Beach I'm sure); plenty of beach and pool toys to entertain the kids; clean, hotel quality linens; and a chef's kitchen so well stocked, it only needs food. The layout of the house is roomy and well appointed with plenty of space for everyone to relax throughout. The pool is a nice oasis with the right mix of sun and shade. Downtown Tarpon Springs is charming with yummy baked goods from Urban Grounds and the Replay Museum where our oldest son enjoyed playing old school video games. Super easy check-in and out and as I mentioned, Ginger is great at communicating throughout the process. The negative aspect that impacted our rating is that the city is doing a sewer construction project under the street right outside the house. The 24/7 drone of pumps and diesel smell, plus normal construction site sounds, did detract from the peacefulness. It won't last forever and the hosts were apologetic. Since it isn't mentioned in the online listing or any recent reviews and bookings are non-refundable, it might be worth asking before requesting to book.

Absolute perfection! Really!

This home is just perfect in every way. It was immaculately clean with fresh linens and fluffy towels, new dish towels, sparkling bathrooms and fairly new kitchen appliances and rugs thru out. It was so amazing that we could hardly drag ourselves away! We went out for a few hours to Howard Park beach and lunch one afternoon and dinner @ The Rusty Pelican one night...that's it, across 7 days! We cooked in for every other meal and there was NOTHING we needed that wasn't found in the kitchen...all the staples, prep needs, utensils, dishes, pots & pans, appliances, etc. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, the couches cozy with blankets for movies, the towels so fluffy and absorbent. There was soap, shampoo, TP, paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, just everything. The pool was super clean and the pool floaties and towels plentiful. There's even an outdoor potty so you don't have to go back upstairs! The lounge chairs, tables & chairs, and lounge areas were numerous and all functional. But, the main reason I will return (and I definitely will) is the view. Honestly, it's just mesmerizing. Mornings, the sun is behind you and the tide is low. The tide comes in and the sun comes to the pool as the day moves into afternoon. That is when you might see dolphins. But the pelicans and adorable mullet jumping fish are ubiquitous along with all manner of beautiful shore birds. Then, the sun hangs low and makes everything glow until it sets in all it's fiery beauty over the Gulf. The morning view from the master is also to die for if you open the curtains before you go to sleep. The only pull to get out of bed is to get your coffee and hit the deck to enjoy the peaceful mornings. Really, the view. OMG. Also, Ginger is such a wonderful host. Even while dealing with her own and family issues from hurricane Ian, she often checked to see if we needed anything and quickly answered questions, etc. The ONLY negative could be having to scale the 24 entrance steps with your luggage. Both ways. Otherwise, you will be hard pressed to find anything better than this wonderful home. But don't tell everyone, let's keep this for ourselves! 😉

Tarpon Springs Retreat

Ginger was the perfect host. We were to stay in Fort Myers Beach but Hurricane Ian had other ideas and Tarpon Springs was a last minute trip. It is a perfect area for the Springs to the north and the beaches to the south. This house overlooked a beautiful bay where we saw dolphins daily and nightly. This was the best stocked house that we have ever stayed at. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Incredible views. Fabulously welcoming home. Great neighborhood. Dolphins and sea otters at our private dock. Quiet peaceful gorgeous. Great hostess. Attention to all details and great communication. We had a great experience! The property was perfect for our family with the pool and dock, complete with views of dolphins, fish, and local birds were amazing! An added bo is was seeing the 4th of July fireworks from the deck! Our hosts were great with the communication process and confirming all of our needs were met. I highly recommend!

Absolutely Gorgeous!!

Where do I start 
 the home is beautiful and the location is fantastic! Our hosts were a joy to work with and can’t wait to go back. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed our morning coffee overlooking the water and watching fisherman try their luck and grilled on the back deck watching the tide come in. The location was private and quiet. The pool was wonderful and there are so many pool toys, it was hard to decide which one to use. You have paddle boards and a canoe at your disposal also. We were close to restaurants and if you don’t feel like getting out or cooking, there are several delivery companies that will bring food to you! Thank you Ginger for making our vacation so wonderful!!

Paradise for bird watchers

The location on a shallow bay, and the elevation from the deck overlooking the water made this the ideal spot for bird watching, and sky gazing. We counted 26 species including bald eagles, dozens of osprey, and even roseatte spoonbills.The neighborhood is very private with little or no traffic. The only downside are the 24 stairs leading to the front door; (and the unheated pool). The owner/managers were super and made our stay very enjoyable.

Gorgeous Views

Beautiful gulf views from every room. My son in-law had to work so we set up a home office in the master bedroom sitting room which has the best view of all. Enjoyed the canoe, pool, bird watching, grilling out and yoga. We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Dimitri’s and would recommend visiting St. Nicholas Cathedral. The beds are extremely comfortable, plenty of closet and drawer space the kitchen was well equipped. While this home is a little dated it had everything we needed and we would stay again.

Beautiful, Comfy Home in Paradise

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO property. The view from the house was spectacular with frequent dolphin sightings, and many early morning visits from Egrets, Herons, and Kingfishers. Fred Howard Park is directly across the bay (5 minute drive) and has a lovely beach, playground, and picnic areas, as well as a variety of birds resting along its shoreline. Ginger was great to work with, and easily available if we had any questions. The house was very clean and comfortable... would highly recommend!

Gorgeous view of Howard Park!

This property was perfect for my stay. Perfect communication with the home owners & notes that assisted with familiarizing yourself with TV etc. Off street parking with gorgeous foliage around house & pool areas, multiple bathrooms -with one by pool! Various outside spaces to sit, grill dinner or just to soak in the view & sunshine! The home has plenty of indoor games & books to help occupy yourselves if it would rain. Internet WiFi worked great. A fantastic Master bedroom with straight backed chairs to enjoy the unbelievable views. Plenty of seating throughout the home & outside. Clean inside and outside areas too. And I would rebook this home again. Ginger and Ken were just fantastic and very helpful with any assistance I needed

An Absolute Gem!

The pictures on the listing do NOT do this property justice! When we walked in the door the views were breathtaking! We were so enamored within a day of being at Ginger and Ken's house, we booked two more weeks for later in 2021. The house is well-stocked, in a quiet neighborhood, and has everything we needed to enjoy the holidays with our family. Being in this home truly felt like being home! Ginger was very attentive to us, although we didn't need a thing as this house has it all. We have rented many, many homes over the years and I can honestly say this place is just magical! Thanks Ginger and Ken! Can't wait to see you again!

Wonderful Christmas week

After having to reschedule several times due to Covid we finally were able to stay the week of Christmas. My husband and I along with our three teenagers had a beautiful week. The house was exactly as described and the views from each level were more than I could have hoped for. We kayaked and biked and fished and mainly relaxed. The house had everything we needed and more! Ginger and Ken were very attentive and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. We hope to definitely stay again to explore more of the area! You won’t be disappointed staying in this beautiful home.

Great house!

House was in a nice quiet location and equipped with anything you could possibly need. We spent most of our time out by the pool, loved the view! We would definitely come back!
