i love gulf winds!

gulf winds employees were above and beyond helpful. The condo we stayed at needs some updates. duck tape was used to fix things like the curtain rod.

The location could not have been better, however I would not recommend this particular unit. It is very dated which I was OK with, but the kitchen pots, pans, and plasticware were unusable. Between the living room and kitchen there are staples in the carpet that stick up and 3 out of 4 of us got stuck by. This was left in another review so should have been taken care of. The carpeting is very worn and stained. We made do because the pool was great, the location was great, and the staff were great.

As Described, Great Location!

We booked this unit as a last minute girls trip. Our flight got in early, and we were able to check into the room early and leave our luggage while housekeeping finished cleaning the room. The beach is right across the street! Several restaurants were sitting walking distance (Rick’s Reef was our favorite). There were beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet, but we chose to rent the chairs and umbrella on the beach ($30/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella). The unit was described and as pictured, dated, but clean. We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio. I would recommend bringing a power strip as there aren’t many outlets in the bedroom to charge phones and watches at night (we used the kitchen and living room outlets). Although we didn’t do any cooking, there were pots, pans, and utensils, a coffee pot, and toaster in the kitchen. The biggest con to the unit was the window coverings/blinds were not in the best of condition, and need to be replaced. Overall, it was a clean house unit that met our needs with friendly staff ina great location!

Amazing location, friendly neighbors

The location could not have been better--beach/ocean across the street and restaurants within walking distance. The unit definitely needs new window coverings, as the vertical blinds in the bathroom were broken and people could see into the bathroom. The carpet between the living room & the kitchen also had nails poking out. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again someday.

Gulf Winds 202

Condo does need a update in kitchen and bathrooms. Does also need a new paint job. WiFi never did work even after last day I was given private code. It worked once and then could not connect. Location was great.
