The place is not that bad. Certainly over priced. Be careful, there are several hidden fees. Although they you something is complementary, it is in a hidden fee. OUr room was good but very LOUD. HVAC system and plumbing were very noisy. I also had an incident where I was mildly injured in a tripping incident. Very little concern was expressed. I would go back, but will certainly look at several other options before hand. It is not very high on my list.

When I was younger we spent a lot of time in St Pete’s and Madeira Beach. I had thought at the age of 16 if I was ever to stay at the Don Cesar it meant I made it 😆. At 50 We recently stayed there and it was stunning. Will be back for sure.
