Home Away from Home - Sand Dollar 404 is a SILVER rated two-bedroom, two-bath Gulf Front vacation rental located in Indian Shores. This spacious 4th-floor vacation rental has a delightful décor and includes a private Gulf Front balcony with a view of our beautiful white sugar sand beach. Plenty of balcony furniture to enjoy magnificent sunsets!

Vacation rental 404 offers a full size, a fully-equipped kitchen complete with appliances including microwave and dishwasher, stocked drawers and you need to enjoy dining at home. Flat Screen Cable TVs in the living room and all bedrooms, telephone with free local US and Canada calls along with free Wi-Fi are also provided.

Sleeping accommodations include one king in the main bedroom and two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. Both bathrooms offer single sink vanities. There is a walk-in shower in the main bath and a tub shower combo in the 2nd bathroom. 404 has a Washer/Dryer, Central heat/air conditioning along with ceiling fans.

The Sand Dollar Resort amenities include On-Site Front desk for easy check-in, Gulf Front swimming pool, sundeck, Jacuzzi, Private fishing pier, Volleyball area, Charcoal grills, free parking, interior elevator system, stairs, pool restrooms and outdoor shower. Check-out maid service included. Bed Linens and bath towels are provided as well as beach towels and beach chairs.

This vacation rental comes with local gym access at no charge.

Maximum occupancy: 6 persons (including infants). 404 is a Smoke-Free Vacation Rental. Sorry, No pets. Limit two parking passes at check-in. No trailers, RVs or boats.

Nice location, basically clean, but when you walked around in socks they got very dirty (? carpet washed) also one bathroom very old and needed updating, bathroom floor corners dirtybedroom windows look out to pedestrian walkwayLobby is old, only 1 elevator with a long wait timeI have stayed at one on Siesta Key and Fort Myers that were much nicer

We have stayed at the Sand Dollar a few times. The front desk ladies are always the nicest!! We had a great relaxing time! They seem to be coming along with all the restoration process from the recent hurricanes!

View is amazing. Beach is amazing. Location is great. Property was spotless. Beds were comfortable. Temperature control needs work. We were warm our entire stay. Nevertheless, we loved our time here. I would recommend for sure.

Paradise!!

We loved the condo and the private pier! My husband fished there every morning and saw manatees, dolphins, sharks and sting rays! This unit has beautiful decor and very comfortable furniture, the condo was also spotless! We would absolutely stay here again!

Condo was clean and very spacious . Kitchen was beautiful and supplied with tons of dishes and utensils Loved open space in the living room and kitchen. The view was breath taking . For us was very surprising that we did not find anything to get you started and that includes dish soap, paper towel or anything else to get you started until you have a chance to go shopping . Being a condo on the beach no beach furniture which makes it huge inconvenience for people that travels from far and by airplane. You almost have to bag for toilet paper. One room has king size bad but not connected to the shower/ bathroom. The other room has two Quinn size beds and shower and bathroom is connected . We made it work but this all was not listed . And very important thing is that we did not have contact info of the owner . I never stayed in a place that I could not communicate with owner directly and the front desk personal would not share information. They said to write review and they might change their rules . So here we are . Review is here and I hope it helps some of you to make decision . This might not be as important for some of you , but it definitely was big inconvenience for us. Loved the area!

Annual girls trip!

We enjoyed every second of our time at this beautiful property! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and helpful! We spent most of our time on the beautiful beach, but loved the pool and jacuzzi as well! So many fun things within walking distance! We won trivia at Friendlys tavern and made some really great friends! We hope to come back to this beautiful location soon!

Wonderful facility

My wife and I really enjoyed our 20 days at the Sand Dollar. The location was excellent, just steps from a clean lovely beach that seems to go on forever in each direction. The entire property has security as a primary consideration. Staff were present all the time and were extremely friendly and helpful. We chose not to rent a vehicle,we walked and took advantage of public transportation. We highly recommend Publix for food delivery, inexpensive and prompt and convenient. We plan on booking for next year. We had a wonderful experience.

Very nice condo

Great condo. I would definitely stay here again. Very spacious 2-bedroom condo that is centrally located between Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Pete. Great views of the beach and sunsets.

Wonderful Property

The condo was gorgeous. Very clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and then some. I loved my mornings with my coffee on the balcony. And watching the sunset set every evening. Highly recommend driving up to IRB to VIP for lunch/dinner. Food was incredible. The staff at Sand Dollar was very welcoming and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is the en suite shower had little water pressure and was barely luke warm. It was so hot the week we stayed that I didn't mind a cool shower. But would have liked a tad more water pressure. It did not affect my vacation at all. It was perfect!

Beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico!

We had a great stay in this condo. We loved the mostly remodeled interior (one of the bathrooms has a new vanity but not shower.) The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook meals. Our beds were very comfortable! We loved the comfortable sectional in the living room overlooking the gorgeous views of the water and sunsets! There was a short walk out to the beach and it was perfect! The downside for us is the walls and ceilings are thin and we could hear the people above us vacuuming at 10pm at night for at least 30 minutes. They must have had little kids because we often heard them running and even bouncing a ball on the floor (our ceiling.) Every morning around 8am we would be awakened by slamming doors from other condos near ours. Their doors were right by our bedroom windows because of the layout of the building. The doors have an automatic close feature that makes them slam shut and most people aren’t considerate about being quiet in the morning when others are still sleeping. We could also hear the elevator ding every time it came up to our floor because our bedrooms were close to the elevator as well. Perhaps it’s the age of the building but we’ve not experienced so much noise before in a condo. In addition, there is only one elevator in the entire building and we had to wait a while for it. The master bedroom does not have an en-suite bathroom and I didn’t see that in the listing. The second bedroom with queen beds has it instead. It should be noted in the listing.

The property and condo was beautiful! Very well kept and had everything we needed to feel at home. The views from the balcony never got old. We could sit out there all day. I spent a majority of the week trying to figure out where the owners bought the couch. It was amazing!!! Still wish that I knew. Make no hesitation when booking this condo. It’s a gem!

This is such a beautiful condo unit. The property was clean and exactly as advertised. It was perfect! Great location for restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately, we only got to stay 2 of our 7 days due to Hurricane Ian mandatory evacuations. But we will be booking again!
