This one-bedroom, villa-style cottage boasts amenities and decor that rival even the most elegant five-star resort. A spacious front porch welcomes guests into a large main room featuring bedroom and living/dining areas. Solid wood nightstands embrace king-sized beds. Electric fireplace for romantic ambiance. Like Steinhatchee Landing's other accommodations, each cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, complete with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave,coffee pot, small stove and washer/dryer. Clean and perfect for family

We have stayed at several different properties in the hatch including 2 others in SL. This unit was clean, sapcious fro a small place and the mngmnt company was prompt in responding to an issue we had. Clean towels and linens too

Cute and cozy

Cottage was cute and cozy for a long weekend stay. Bathroom is large. Kitchen is a bit cramped. Had a few issues on first day but management resolved them as quickly as they could.

Nice getaway with one fatal flaw

My wife and I were looking forward to this getaway, and were pleased with the remarkably clean cottage within a very charming resort community where we really enjoyed walking around. Internet and TV was decent. Unfortunately on our second and last evening when we were finally going to enjoy the jacuzzi, we discovered that the heater did not work at all and the main water heater was only able to provide enough hot water to make it a lukewarm experience. It was too late in the evening to call anyone. As the jacuzzi tub was prominently displeased and the major draw to this place, we were very disappointed that this would be our of order. If that was working, it would have been 5 stars all the way. Another note is that this community is a bright spot on an otherwise large economically distressed geographic area with little to offer, unless you are boating or fishing perhaps. We did enjoy Kathy's Krab Shack's seafood boil.

Exquisite Cottage!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Taylor’s Landing; the cottage is packed with all the amenities: electric fireplace, cute dinette set, stereo and a very plush king size bed! The kitchen is smallish but doable! The view of King’s Creek is picturesque...we enjoyed having the walking path right out our back door. The Landings is always our first choice when spending time in Steinhatchee. We’ll definitely stay here, again!

Steinhatchee rental review

House was lovely - it is considered a "honeymoon" cottage. Bathroom has a bad design inasmuch as the water runs to one corner of the tub area and the water from the shower head is not hot enough. Wifi is slow and DirecTV has a bad habit of periodically freezing. though only for a couple of seconds. The neighborhood was great with plenty of places to go for a walk. Has a dog park which we used a lot (we have 2 corgis). Also be aware that there is no real food market so be prepared to drive to Cross City (Sav-A-Lot) or to either Perry or Chiefland (Super WalMart). Overall gave it 5 starts but be aware of the limitations!!

Just Us

First time in Steinhatchee, communication with manager easy and conclusive. Only drawback was narrowness of roads between houses. Will definitely consider coming back in the future.
