Check in was a breeze on the automatic machine. We actually like not having windows in our room, made it easier to sleep. The location is very convenient next to the metro station and the lobby is cool. Only downside was all the construction right outside the front of the hotel.

I couldn't quite get used to being in a windowless room in the basement of an office building. Claustrophobic sort of describes it, but there's also the feeling of limited egress in an emergency. The "hotel" has no services to speak of, except a vending machine coffee maker in the lobby and a staff member on duty in case there's a problem. The premises are new, and so are clean, but rooms aren't cleaned/tidied during your stay. If you're on a very strict budget and only want a bed to sleep in, Citybox is an option, but you get what you pay for.

The room without a window was a bit stuffy. There was very loud music played throughout the night that I could hear through the walls, as well as construction (jack hammers & forklifts, etc,) early in the morning. Not a quiet stay.

The location was fantastic, very close to the train station. 5 minute walk to the touristy part which was great. Our bathroom flooded on the second day. Went to the front desk and explained, within a matter of minutes we were moved. Clean hotel and easy check in and check out process. Thank you

I would say it’s excellent. Super centre prime location in the city . Convenient to go around . New and clean, well equipped in the common area , nice vibes. Friendly and helpful staff . The rooms are well designed, stylish and functional. Impressive shower , only thing is the room temperature was a bit tricky to monitor and no heating in bathroom. Overall it’s not cold so it doesn’t bother me. There’s a construction site right outside I’m glad to stay in the basement with no windows actually. I hope that’s temporary ill definitely choose Citybox again when I visit Stockholm again.

Will definitely return!

This is the third time I stay in here, and this was again a brilliant stay. The rooms are tidy and modern - the cheaper ones no not have windows / TV and it can get a little warm at times but there is an air conditioning unit which I believe will be on full force during warmer months. Even if you visit for a longer time, there’s no need to pack extensively as there are laundry facilities for a small charge. People at the host office are the kindest and they were very flexible with everything. Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed our short stay at Citybox Stockholm. At first I was a bit unsure how my experience would be due to no staff and was worried it would be difficult (especially since we were arriving very late in the night). However, it was very smooth and easy. A kind staff member saw us ringing the doorbell at 3AM and let us in. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I wasn't sure how I felt about having no windows but honestly, we slept great due complete darkness! It would be nice to have an iron in the room if needed. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would come back again.

It's good for what it is: an affordable, well-located place to sleep and shower while visiting Stockholm. That said, it was initially a bit tricky to find, and I underestimated how much I in fact do need a window and TV in my room. If you are OK with that, then you should totally consider CityBox for your visit.

Impressed with this basic hotel!

Three adults and one teenager stayed in the family room during our stay. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and newness of the hotel. It's in a great location. It was slightly difficult to find on the first day but once you know where you're going, its quick and easy to find. I wasn't sent a booking reference when we got to the self check-in machines but there was someone there who helped me in under two minutes. You can choose how many room keys to have as well. There's loads of nice seating in the lobby with boardgames and a self service kitchen area which was incredible. We used it many times for crockery. The room had no window which was a shame but generally we didn't miss it and were happy to forgo given the price. Getting around the building was easy and we loved having a hot water machine on the floor (and down the lobby) to fill our drinks up. We also used the laundry room which was quick and easy. The room and general building was very clean. My only qualms of the place was ideally there would be a window, the bunk beds were slightly too low to the ground. You couldn't sit up on the bottom bunk! More seating in the rooms would be great.
