My wife and I celebrated a special anniversary at Hotel La Palma. We booked a Junior Suite with a wrap around terrace that had a spectacular lake view. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and a relaxing environment. The staff is friendly and professional. Special thanks to front desk reception member, Debora, who was so helpful when our flight home was cancelled.

Very close to all there is to see in Stresa. Wonderful breakfast service. We also have dinner one night and it was pretty good. We had a lake view balcony and we enjoyed a couple of drinks there watching the boats and people go by. My only complain would be that this October was unseasonably hot, and the AC was turned off for the whole building. The common areas were hot, and the room, a bit too warm for my taste. We did open the windows, but then there would be mosquitos coming in, and noice from the street. They did lend me a stand up fan and that helped me sleep a bit better.

Worth the money
Great place, great location, nice town. Staff were very helpful, especially with our early check out and preparing a breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back.

Very lucky with the weather
We were very lucky with the weather!! It was perfect! Our room was on the third floor in the corner, we had beautiful views from the side but with he lake and island. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. Breakfast is all what I would ask for. Service is great. Dinner is good. The menu is too small. All I ask for next time is cattle for tea in the room. I will come back if I can.
