The place needs renovating. No complimentary breakfast. Turn on a TV for information in the reception area. Area around the hotel is dismal. Carpets need a good cleaning; doors don't open and close properly.

Overpriced and very disappointing

Extremely tired hotel that is in need of repairs, upgrades and staff that actually know something about customer service.
Filthy carpet outside our room. It was never vacuumed in the three days we were there.
This is their idea of a suite. A virtually empty room with a sofa bed that doesn’t close and a coffee table.
The sofa bed would not close so it was very uncomfortable to sit on.
Carpet was unglued all over the room.

We frequent Sudbury to visit family, and have stayed at numerous hotels in the area . by far this hotel on Regent street has been our best experience. Room spacious , bed comfortable, and staff super friendly and kind . Complimentary breakfast on the weekend was excellent, and didn’t feel like the typical hotel breakfast experience. The staff were amazing during breakfast service. Will absolutely stay here every time when we return again .

While we appreciated the hot breakfast selection, the temperature of the bacon and eggs were cold. It’s like they were put into the chafing dishes cold and never warmed up in an oven before serving. We stayed here twice and both times it was the same.

As others have said, the hotel is older and it shows. Shabby in spots, elevator buttons cracked but functional, crazy loud AC unit, worn carpets. Despite that, we were comfortable, it was quiet and the staff were all AMAZING! Probably the nicest staff we’ve dealt with at the many many hotels we stayed at. I’d recommend this place simply based on how friendly and inviting the staff are.
