The Expedia component was terrible. I booked my trip on 8/20 for 9/10 arrival. Upon checking in on 9/10 the reservation was not there on the hotel's end as Expedia apparently never sent the confirmation over to the hotel. I waited 90 minutes late evening before the front desk was able to reach someone at Expedia (they hung up on him the first time, second time was no better and claimed it might take three hours for the confirmation to be sent to the hotel). So then I had to call Expedia and after stressing out too long over this problem it was decided canceling the reservation and booking it directly was the best option from a stop wasting time approach because we needed to go to bed and get up early. The total price was vastly higher and disappointing and too much time wasted. Very unfortunate as Expedia has been great previously with multiple recent bookings over the last three months but now I am considering not using this service any longer.
