The room was clean but outdated, air con quiet, good size fridge, comfy large bed, easy parking. A very noisy location on a busy road and opposite traffic lights. Could hear traffic all night which made it difficult to sleep. Guests in next room were very noisy with small children running up and down in front of other rooms, calling out, opening and closing doors (but this wasn’t the motels fault). Guests were in the pool at 7.15am even though pool didn’t open till 8.00am. A little impersonal being sent a text saying “keys can be picked up from box, and returned in box on departure”. Office was locked on the two occasions I tried to speak to staff. Ran out of toilet paper, and office locked at 9.30am when I left so had to drop key into box (which were the instructions in text msg). Can’t comment on staff as I didn’t see any in the three nights I stayed. I would try a different motel if I visit Taree again.

Check in was simple with no contact key collection using a key safe. We didn’t need to see any staff. The room was neat and mostly tidy but the bathroom was not cleaned properly especially in the shower as the soap and face washers from the previous guests were left. We stayed in this accommodation on two separate occasions and this occurred on both of our stays. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well for those hot days.

The smoke alarm went off in the whole motel at 0630am and then the water was shut off for an hour which meant we didn't get a shower before leaving. No communication from hotel staff.

Whilst the room was clean and presentable it was a little tired and getting to the point of needing a refresh. With this said the bed was very comfortable though I did wonder how much sleep I would get when I saw disposable ear plugs on the bed side cabinets. I did not try the pool and did not need to contact staff about anything. The motel operates a contactless check-in however there were contact details available if assistance was required.
